Casemiro has been absolutely transformative for Man United this season when he’s played and it’s obvious how much Man Utd hurt when we don’t have him, his presence, character and ability can’t be understated. It’s very easy to make the argument that he’s our best signing post Ferguson. In a new report from The Times, an unnamed veteran club employee is said to have called Casemiro the ‘most important signing since Eric Cantona’ – they might not be wrong…

  1. He can easily play on this lvl for the next 3 years, he doesn’t need to run a lot because of his understanding of the game.. he will win us the league next season

  2. Do you think it makes sense to avoid the price and pressure of a Bellingham chase and instead offer Gravenberch an out and not squander the unique opportunity for a young central midfielder to learn from Casemiro and Eriksen while they are still here.

  3. Casemiro is pure class. There were people saying he went to United for the pay check, I don't believe that…. you just have to look at how he reacts when we win, lose, score. The guy is a serial winner, he's addicted to winning and he loves EVERY minute on the pitch. What he wanted was a new challenge and nothing could have been a greater challenge than resolving Uniteds midfield crisis, so he joined…. and the rest is history. What a great player, he's quickly won not only my heart but most of fans of United's hearts I think….

  4. Yes, he's the best he's ever been. No doubt. Casemiro, Marcus, Bruno, Martinez, Varane, and Shaw, with earlier Eriksen sprinkled in, have all been very impressive, but Casemiro – even more than Rashford! – has been the best of the lot, and that is saying a lot.

Now the kicker is: we have had to opportunity to see how this team performs with and without Casemiro; that raises how we see him significantly. United will now be with Rashford for a touch, and we may see him to be just as valuable and important after.

Still, the only thing I want to see is the entire "Best 11" on the pitch at the same time, with the best subs available; we still haven't seen that!

De Gea; Shaw, Martinez, Varane, (in-form) Dalot; Casemiro, Eriksen, Bruno; Rashford, Martial, Antony; subs Garnacho, Sabitzer, with the third being situational. It hasn't happened, and I want it to happen so badly.

Casemiro is an anchor, and a bloody good one.

  5. He`s been praised more in England because the English fans are clueless and think they are the best league in the world even at times when they are not (sometimes they are). English media and fans constantly downplay other leagues even though their teams constantly get humbled in the Europa, the UCL or the national teams when they face opposition from Spain or Germany.

  6. He’s definitely the type we need to lead us to a title. I also think he’s gonna age gracefully given that his game doesn’t rely on pace

  7. STE are you in any way concerned casameiro could begin to slow down next season, based on his tenacity and the premier League being the most demanding leauge

  8. For argument sake.
We talk about the impact with and without cas is greater than bruno.

Is that skewed cos we’ve not really had an extended period without bruno.

  9. I am a regulal viewer of this channel but on this question I don’t need tho listen to say my opinion that is – RM Casemiro the 5 time CL winning and playing in all most all the matches crucial matches those tackles as a RM fan I will never forget he was a beast back then UTD Casemiro is still the best CDM in the world don’t get me wrong it’s just RM days we’re unrepeatable
