Bernardo is just not more prominent in the world stage because…he is TOO sefless. If he cared more about his personal numbers…making his goals and assists (because the ability to do it is there)……he'd be much more well regarded. He'd be called one of the best players in the world every season.
For me it’s hard to really single out any one player. The entire team put in a shift, even Ederson. He came off his line at the right times and he made saves. Recently it seemed he’s soo comfortable in goal that he concedes on the very first shot any team gets at him.
No one is talking how much better Grealish has been since Cancelo left. Akanji was great business by Tiki
Silva was amazing. He surprised me positively. Played well with my boy Haaland. They were Electric.

City didn't and don't want to sell Bernardo. Bernardo is home sick and has wanted to leave for 3 or 4 years but no sensible/realistic offer has come in for him.
Really disappointed with my Bayern Team. Of course I knew this would be one of the best teams to play against ( with Real Madrid) but in the first half of the season there were some incredible performances. De Bruyne, Gundogan,Haaland….all players that played already outrageous in the Bundesliga. And the form of some players like Jack Grealish is outstanding. This is definitely a team of Pep Guardiola….confident, everyone is playing for each other and fast, rapid passing. We deserved to loose, obviously.
Bernadro was increadible. Constantly attacking Davis. Constantly pressing when without the ball. I was incredibly impressed by his performance. He deserved that goal.

Bernardo is an incredible athlete. They have that wrong. Stamina is a sign of an excellent respiratory and cardiovascular system. Bernardo can run and run all day. That is incredible. I have not seen any other player in the PL who can run and run like him. Foden comes close.

Honestly every city player , ederson proved his getting better at shot stopping , ake played like Gullit , Ruben Dias was colossal , Akanji is fast and physical he dominated his wingers, rodri and Stones in midfield were so intelligent and Gundogan KDB were space creators for Silva haaland and grealish who were flawless
When you realise pep set up his starting Xi without full backs.. genius. That 3-2 build up with stones in midfield is just a killer

This game at best would have been 1-0, were it not for Upamecano having a crazy day and help out the city to get two more goals…!!!…It is hard to imagine how Bayern can come back from three goals deficit.
Bernardo and Haaland were fantastic …. but the entire side deserve all the credit in the world for this one, they were all exceptional ….. City really pulled together 'as a team' to get that result, against a very good side.
Let's just hope that they dont throw it all away in Munich now !
As other City fans have said, nobody wants Bernardo to go. We have been baffled that no decent offers came in for him from the minute his agent revealed his wish to leave England. I think it's mainly the weather for himself(and his dog John) and keeping his other half happy. He clearly loves the club and the fans love him. His favoured destination has always been Barcelona(likes the club but also because of his gf) but they never prioritised him and so their offers have been way too low for what he's worth. The only question is, why haven't any other clubs made any good offers for him?… Unless he's only waiting for Barca it seems like only City rate him. I hope he changes his mind and stays.
I will just take a moment and remind ppl that this is Haalands first season with City… Normally, players need a season to settle in, get to know each other, and all that jazz.

As a German and Bayernfan, it is funny to see Ruben Dias and Benardo Silva playing so well in Manchester and their system. When it comes to the national team, I would never fear them, because Germany played against Portugal a couple of times since WC 2006 and won every time, in most cases pretty decisively. I know, excluding Euros 2021, these were other players except for Cristiano. It just seems to me that Portugal with Silva and Dias are not dangerous, but when it comes to Mancity, they are!🙈
Bernardo is such an intelligent player in every aspect of the game. He can play anywhere pep has used him on the right on the left in midfield at defensive mid and at left back.

I think Haaland watched that amazing performance vs Liverpool from up in the box and was inspired by the beautiful play, the passing, the way everyone contributed. He wanted some of that.
Tuchel failed on so many levels. Gab spot on Nagelsman formation would've ripped city having coman & davies as wing backs. That would've forced Bernado back & gave Bayern more outlets in buildup. Bayern board failed miserably sacking Naglesman b4 this game Pep is more nervous vs Nagelsman that Tuchel smh
