pereira has to have a couple of wins in the top 10 before the rematch they basically gave him a title shot because of izzy it wasn't earned going through the division. The only reason izzy got a rematch is because he defended the belt 7 times and beat everyone in the top 5 some even more than once

Pereira barley made weight, he struggles with weight cut. Probably took a lot out of him in the fight. Maybe 3 happens after Pereira wins the LHW title as a champ vs champ fight at LHW or a catchweight

It would Kill Alex to do another cut to 185.
B: PERIERA goes to 205:
Faces JAN BLACHOWICZ, who beat IZZY: A Win gets him a Title Shot
C: If ADESANYA Vacates @ MW or Holds the 185 Belt to fight @ 205, he receives:
an Immediate Title Shot, PERIERA would have to get:
A 2nd win to get a shot @ ADESDANYA if he wins the LHW Belt.
I don't want to see another Izzy and Alez fight. It cannot get any greater then the last fight. Let it go. If he climbs back after a couple of brush ups then OK. Let him move up to 205 or fight Whitaker.

Izzy v Dricus isn’t a good fight. My wife is from SA and we’re big fans of Dricus, but he’s not ready, yet. I’d like to see Dricus v Costa or Whitaker, and if Izzy v Pereira is an immediate rematch I’d rather see Belal go up fight Chimaev and winner of that fight fight Izzy.

I thought that the "bow and arrow" celebration by Izzy was genious but the thing with the kid was just awful.
My respect for Izzy´s mentality just went 100-0 with a matter of seconds.
Izzy has suffered bullying as a kid himself, now he´s being the bully for something stupid that a 5 year old kid did back then (and his own father has publicly disapproved his son´s actions).
The scene of the kid crying with his father unconscious, laying on the floor, because an grown a** man was acting stupid like Izzy did, made me remember how cringe he is.
On top of that, refusing the rematch immediately when he´s actually 1-3 with his opponent. There´s no maturity or strong mentality in this man. He´s just weak as it gets.
Alex on the other hand… That´s an grown man and a role model right there!

They have to do the rubber match. Why? BECAUSE Izzy doesnt want it. If Alex does that puts Izzy in a tough spot. Dictating who you fight and making excuses for not having a rubber match will haunt his career forever.
