Trent Alexander Arnold performance in a new right back/ midfield position vs Arsenal.
During the game you may have noticed that when Arsenal were possession of the ball, Trent was in his usual right back position.
But when Liverpool had the ball, Trent often tucked into midfield to add to our midfield strength during the game. This slight tweak may be just what the highly criticized defender needs to revitalize his Liverpool performances.

Trent is a spider. Networks his passes comfortably from any positions on the pitch. He's a better double legged phenomenon.

Loved him in this position. Can see it being devastating moving forward & this box midfield unlocks the #8βs also.

We not need another RB in the system; you bring in a RB & you lose another offensive player.
The beauty of TAA drifting into a midfield position is you get your #8βs linking with the front three, you bring in a RB & place TAA, you either lose the DM or one of the #8βs.
The box midfield is a feature of this formation & we have used it to great effect in the hammering of United & vs Arsenal.
Liverpool must transition from 4-3-3 to 3-4-3….Robbo n TAA as LM, RM with a extra defender in the back should be unstoppable
If Klopp did this in 2020 he would have been there with KDB

I think if we moved trent into midfield next season and gomez to right back, we'd probably only need one more midfielder to come im for when thiago inevitably gets injured. Which could be in elliot or curtis jones…but trents proved in that second half, hes much better playing as a centre mid than he is a right back

but he didn't did he? he was not positioned as a midfielder. he was playing double duties which might be dangerous. if klopp starts gomez or milner as right back and trent at the same time; he will be a bit free to do his work in the mid of the field. hope klopp tries that.
Buy a decent rb and fee Trent to do what he does best.
