Sounders let him go because they support their players and want them to be successful. Schmetz took the line all along – we love having Jordan in Seattle, but if his dream becomes bigger than MLS we will love to see him succeed elsewhere. The Swans are going up.
I did watch the Swansea v Brentford match on Swansea TV and honestly? If I were Jordan I would be worried. Those guys were going into tackles so recklessly that I was constantly cringing. Two of the top teams literally engaged in a hackfest.

No, Matt, I couldn't care less about MLS v LMX. Until we can win CONCACAF, who cares about 1-on-1. The breakdown of the MLS, it's partitioning, makes a US cup that blends those the emailer mentioned is far more interesting
