  1. I wish Messi the best no matter what he decides to do, and obviously it makes sense that many Barca fans would love him to return. But I don't see how it would be possible financially.

  2. They keep talking like the club has no sense. His wage is obviously going to be reduced. It’s common sense. Infact if you actually follow reports, you’ll find out that Messi is already okay with receiving low wages, and being compensated in a different way. Percentage of the revenue generated by his return will be given to him and also a tribute match will hosted in the camp nou and a percentage of that will be given to him also.

Simple research. Same way espn thought we wouldn’t be able to even sign players, or register players. They always have no clue

  3. Messi has the most g/a in Europe and they saying he's bad for our project 😂😂again telling barca they won't sign players just for us to sign 5 again😂😂😂 can't wait for the transfer window to see these fools cry again

  4. He is coming home, keep crying penaldo fc
He has Most goals and assists in Europe having just won the biggest tournament in sport.being the best player…. he easily has 2.more years here….unlike.the kebab league merchant 😮

  5. Messi is the greatest player to ever play the game and he will have comercial value to Barcelona far beyond his retirement… bringing him back in a smart way makes a lot of financial sense.

  6. Until you are in the same shoes, it’s unfair to determine how someone should walk in his shoes. Barcelona certainly knows what’s good for them and if they decide to bring back Messi, so be it.

  7. Gab shut you have no clue of what you are saying. Messi returning to Barca bothering these idiots as if they are gonna pay his wages

  8. Staying at PSG and getting booed when you are literally the best performing player in the team makes no sense too. He is coming home. Barca is his home.

  9. Gab: Messi to Barcelona is stupid.
Also Gab: Go to Rosario where a cartel is waiting ti kill you or go to Saudi to play with Cristiano

    Wow… what logic!! 😂

  10. Why is gab making it sound like Messi can't produce anything with his imagination 🙄
We still need him in Europe, his form hasn't been bad for him to start branching off. Cause if he does, it's these pundits who will be first to stone him saying he took the easy way out

  11. It’s funny. Everyday, a “Messi to Barcelona is a bad idea” video — while Messi is still in great shape and certainly amongst the best players in the world at 35, if not the best.

  12. Gab said on one of these that Real Madrid should sign a 38 year old Ronaldo before he went to Al-Nassr. Meanwhile, those who support the idea of Messi returning to Barca are apparently childish… Nice hypocrisy. Not to mention, this is someone who is still at a great level, having not only helped lead his side to the world cup, but he also has more combined goals and assists than any player for club and country this season. His creativity and goalscoring ability would only make Barca better imo.

  13. What does not makes sense is having a fat guy that has no history of being a footballer comments on footballers that can run unlike him and comment on what makes sense for a club which has the people who are qualified and have the know how of how to run it while this fat guy just runs his mouth. That makes no sense to me.

  14. ESPN please please stop uploading these guys content or start another channel directly for Gabs and Juls there’s nothing more annoying than listening to this over weight man talking about football especially having never played the game, revenue wise it would also make a lot more sense as you can monetise from another page please please consider it because the ESPN Fc show you have is brilliant these guys just make your football division look like nerds 🤦🏾‍♂️

  15. It's obvious he's not going to be paid the same wage bracket as before but did these "pundits" consider the revenue Messi will bring in? The level of confidence for players? A potential CL perhaps.

  16. Gab is a child. When he’s on ESPNFC he looks displeased and upset half the time, but when he’s on his own platform he’s all smiles jolly. 👶

  17. how stupid is Gab and other ESPN "pundits"? Never speaks with facts but emotions and generalities. Guy just won WC as best player, is the most productive player in all of Europe in front of goal, still is the most creative player in Europe, but hey, those saying he should go to Barca are childish. Then proceeds to say the most childish, stupidest thing as he should sign for Al-Nassr and play with ronaldo. Or go to Rosario. I have never watched any of them talk about his numbers, it's all just "it's stupid", "it doesn't make sense", "they can't afford him", knowing well Barca are not stupid to sign him on a salary they can't afford. Seriously how do these people get these jobs??

  18. There's just so much to debunk and unravel with Gab's statement.

Messi lowered his wages by 50% in the summer of 2021 but it wasn't enough and I believe in Spain you're not allowed to go past 50%. The situation is different now. Messi would come in as a "new" signing, allowing Barca to give him a much lower wage (7-10mil Euros).

In terms of playstyle, yes, Messi's biggest issue would be pressing but the trade-off with his insane passing and quick bursts of dribbling is worth it. Obviously Xavi knows how Messi plays so it seems he finds it worth it too. And i swear if someone says the nonsense that "Xavi doesn't want Messi, that's a coach's nightmare" i will throw hands. Xavi has already said multiple times he wants Messi, he's CALLED Messi, he talks to him all the time. Why would he not only lie to the fans, media, and team… But to Messi too? That's far-fetched.

And c'mon Gabs. You cannot say a romantic Barcelona move would make no sense, when you then say Rosario and Al-Nassr makes more sense. Messi wants to stay in Europe with a team that has a good project. Rosario and Al-Nassr are automatically out, alongside the MLS. Plus, PSG don't look like they've got a very good project coming up. Not only that, why would Messi stay at a club who's fans don't appreciate him? He's their top goal contributor yet they whistle and boo him for what? Rumors? Not winning the UCL for them? It's pathetic.

  19. They've won the league with him and their gonna win the league without him, the ucl is different tho, They've had greater teams than this and still couldn't win it but who knows.

  20. It makes sense in that it would bring them in a lot of money Xavi said himself like Michael Jordan Last Dance I'm sure that's what he's thinking

  21. Gab is talking about Messi as if he's a neighbourhood kid who wants to play for Barcelona. Dude, you are only qualified to pick his trash that lays outside his house.
    So, stfu.

  22. Gab is afraid of a messi return 😂like so many, why not go to barca if you would go to Miami or Rosario with the level he still has. Makes no sense and messi isnt jus thinking about the money or he would have left in the last window for tuns of money to Arabia 😅like ronaldo. Barca will work something out.

  23. It is pretty evident that Gab is a Ronaldo's fanboy and pretty much hates Messi, so better if he keeps his analysis on Messi's situation to himself. Giving advise to Messi to go to Rosario or Al Nassr and calling himself Romantic, so pathetic.

  24. U all should stop deceiving yourself messi is leaving PSG n he stI'll want to play I Europe alot of team we definitely want him to sign messi in Europe

  25. Barca fans are kids who pushing these idiotic news…Barca fighting to get back Messi shows they don't have a plan as a club…😅😂

  26. PSG just been given the green light to keep on spending crazy money.
So if Messi doesnt get his wish, he will re-up in Paris.
At the end of the day football is a business and Im sure La Liga will allow him to come back.

  27. It’s clear that Barca are just planting stories in a desperate attempt to appear as if they’re still relevant in the transfer market. The simple reality is that the only thing Barca can really do these days is feed off free transfer scraps and pray that the Super League becomes a thing.

  28. Haaland has 51 goal contributions he's 22, Mbappe has 52 goal contributions he's 24, Messi has 58 goal contributions (most in Europe) he's 35. Statistically messi is still the best player in the world and world cup proved that.
