With Upamecano, Pavard and Davies dropping below par performances, Man City outworking Bayern all over the pitch and Gnabry virtually anonymous up front this was as comprehensive result as they come!

Lost 3:0 despite’s sommer having the game of his life. Poeple out here saying it was a good decision to sack Neiglesman😅😅
This felt like the semis against PSG a few seasons ago, just a mature, elite performance, Dias, Ake, Akanji, Stones, Rodri, Bernardo all had 10/10 games
But they’ll still lose against Madrid 🤍🤍🤍
Its interesting because the exact thing Bayern wanted to avoid by hiring Tuchel is still what ended up happening to them (I.e getting hammered by Man City). Perhaps Bayern should have waited before sacking Nagelsmann because he was building up something there.
Stupid headline to say that Guardiola humiliated Tuchel. He didn't humiliate him, he just has a much better team.
How gutsy was it for tuchel to play a 4231 against city but without a striker 😒😒😒
As an Arsenal fan I see city progressing as a good. To me it means less rest days for them and putting in shifts on a somewhat regular basis.
I personally love that the City fans are somewhat vindicated for keeping the faith with players like Grealish and Ake, who were written off after rough early seasons off the back of big transfers and are now 100% proving why they deserve to be in this side.
Anything can happen in knockout football but if City can keep their heads, they are the team to beat right now.
Sommer put up a really good game too, so imagine if they didn't sign him

It wasn’t that great of a performance by city because before the Upamecano mistake for the 2:0 which shiftet the game completely it was pretty even. I would say that Bayern wouldn’t have gone out of the first leg with more than a 1goal deficiency if it wasn’t for that.
