If we've bought Davies, it's because his numbers say that he's technically good enough. It's down to him to prove that he can replicate those figures at the most elite level. What we don't do is buy a 25 year old with the intention to loan them out 5 minutes after they have served their initial purpose if he doesn't prove to instantly be good enough. It's not like he's a kid that's showing potential, he's in his prime and will be given 12-18 months to prove he's up to the challenge.
They've also got a damn good kid in Sepp, he has so much to give if Preston is willing/smart enough to be patient.
