Agree if we can get 60m for him early and bring in two descent midfielders that would be class
Nunes and Palhinha would be sensational. I’d be gutted if neves leaves though.
Think you're underplaying 1) how good Neves is and 2) his value to us. Don't begrudge him leaving (for a good fee, I would say 60mil), but we will struggle to attract a player his equal let alone better, so that has to be seen as a downgrade. All the same can be said for Moutinho too. Don't know much about Palinha and Nunes but highly doubt they're gonna be an immediate upgrade on our current pair. Do whatever it takes to sign João & Ruben up imo! If they want to leave so be it, but will be v difficult to replace/upgrade, losing both would be a huge blow
'Neves isn't irreplaceable' is completely wrong.
I don't begrudge him the move, he deserves it and has given us 5 years, but he will be VERY hard to replace. There's not a better deep lying playmaker in the world atm and I think he'll surprise everyone how good he can be in a more attacking side that give him more passing options.
This is impossible to happen. Besides lack of Quality to be Barcelona player there are alot of midfilders withn that Team (Pedri, De Jong, Busquete, Gavi, now Kessie) there is not possible chance for Him.
