Mitro should of knocked out the ref the way the media puts it if he was English or top 6 wouldn’t of even gotten a card.

Eight games is mad. And even if this is a case of making an example of Mitro, im pretty sure that nothing will change in terms of the abuse the referees get. Do you think the biggest stars of the top six clubs will start getting reds for abusing the refs fom now on? I highly doubt it.
The FA have always been wankers, I'm pretty sure consistency isn't in their vocabulary.

Absolute joke of decision. I Agree with everything you’ve said, FA should release a statement alongside this punishment outlining any descent against officials will be punished starting with crowding.
Should’ve done it after the Lemina 2nd yellow vs Saints for crowding, but as you said they’ll brush this under the rug and continue to be inconsistent

These sanctions now have to be applied to all clubs for the same misdemeanor. Very peculiar decision.

But this kind of punishment will not be given out to any other player who does this. The Nottingham players did this and nothing was done. Not another person will get this kind of treatment. The FA just picks on Fulham.
If we can win half of those, that will be enough.

Admittedly not a Fulham fan, Man. United ironically enough, but I reckon this is the right outcome – unless, as you mention, the FA don't remain consistent going forward. That is a massive if, granted. Also, I don't think the racism counterargument is fair given that was almost 12 years (!) ago – just because they messed up big time then, it doesn't mean they shouldn't 'correct' it going forward.
Good work with the channel, btw! I rarely comment, but do like to check in on other clubs every now and then. A likeable bunch!

In total agreement with you Sammy. Bit disappointed to see some Fulham fans baying for Mitro/Marco's heads post-game, it would appear pleasing other fans/the FA is more important than sticking by your team. 5 or 6 game ban would have been reasonable. The rugby comment is also spot on.
And Kavanaugh continues to be a disgrace. Missed a clear cut pen for Wolves against Forest. Though I suppose it makes it more fair if he's incompetent without bias.

Manchester United fan from Memphis, Tennessee USA here. So it is interesting that an independent council handles the suspensions and not the FA themselves, and you mentioned that the FA wants a longer suspension for Mitrovic. And I like how you mentioned rugby referees. I wish soccer(football) referees were miked up like rugby referees are, so you can here what they are saying….why a yellow card or red card is given. It would help us appreciate what the referees go through in a match.
Fulham was always going to be a free hit. No army of MSM to scream unfair. As you say, will there be consistently across the board. ? Doubtful. A costly mistake by Mitro. It happened yesterday with Robertson and linesman. 77% possession against West Ham and no goals. Doesn't auger well for next two games.
