This golden protection for referees need to stop. The job for the match officials is to institute safety on the pitch aswell as the officiating side and this linesman should be sidelined until the end of the season.

Robertson deserved it simple as players have no right at all to approach refs or linesman let alone touch them needs to be more self defence from refs that will soon stop players thinking they can do what they want
