Liverpool fans get so triggered when Nunez is brought into a conversation. We all know Liverpool fans where comparing Nunez to Haaland, but every Liverpool fan now will go no we never. after that one game in the community shield they where big'in him up way to much. They know they've over spent and had there pants pulled down and that's why they're fuming when his name is brought up. All this pretend support and "everyone get behind him" its cringe as hell. Also shows how clueless that liverpool fan is when he says hes scored 12 in the prem. Actually 8, but yea keep inflating the numbers to suit your argument.

Can’t believe people or fans knocking Nunez in his first season in a foreign country where he hardly speaks English, give the lad a chance for gods sake the question should of been asked back would you take him at Spurs🤷♂️ no one said he’ll be the best player in the league but one thing for sure we haven’t seen the best of the lad just yet and being a Newcastle fan I’d take him in a heart beat even at £65m the lad has got raw talent.

It's just an asinine argument from AGT – incorrect stats aside, if your first point is "well YOUR PLAYER'S SHIT TOO", you've lost the argument because you can't even justify your side without slinging mud. Comparing him to a player with 0 goals when the talk of Nunez pre-signing was comparing him to Haaland shows that Nunez hasn't lived up to the price.
Nunez is a very decent player but has a lot to improve on – I think 99% of people will agree with that. I feel like Doyle was more accepting of that (although the point of £65m not being a lot wasn't one I agree with in context of Liverpool buying a player) but AGT was deflecting very hard and not making any tangible points as to why Darwin has lived up, or will live up, to that price. I don't agree with Fuad in saying he won't live up to the price tag – that's a finite statement and there's every chance he does – but everything else he said was completely fair as he just doesn't rate the guy based on the eye test.
We need better quality debates than this LOL
You have to take into consideration that the whole Liverpool team has been poor. Overall, Darwin has been good for Liverpool so far.

Darwin Nunez is the Uruguayan Michail Antonio.. The guy is average. He does have physical attibutes like pace that suit the EPL but he doesnt have the football IQ and tech
