  1. Morris is excellent but he isnโ€™t going against the best defenders in the world and thatโ€™s what we need. Would he be serviceable as a fourth stringer on the USMNT? Maybe. We need guys that can take on the ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ, ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ and ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท of the world.

  2. Leo Chu kind of stole the show on some of those highlights, holy cow. Your breakdowns are great, whenever I see an American balling out I always check to see if you have one out yet lol

  3. Morris has scored 4 of his 8 goals against SKC, a team that has literally not won a single of their opening 6 games. Two goals against Colorado, another team with zero wins in six games. He also scored one against LA Galaxy, another team that has not yet won a game this season. So sure, he is scoring goals against the bottom feeders of the league, teams with zero wins. Against good teams, 0 goals against LA FC. 0 goals against Cincinnati. So you really need to put some perspective into his goals this year. Sure, he can score against teams that LITERALLY CANNOT WIN, but against good teams he comes up empty.

Also take into consideration his form with the USMNT in world cup qualifying this last cycle, and even in the world cup itself. He was bloody awful. That doesn't mean that Morris is a bad player, he just is not of a caliber for that level of the international game. Now, that being said, if his current form continues I say call him up for the Gold Cup roster. But there is ZERO reason to call him in for Nations League or for anything higher than that. He is not capable and has proven it already.

  4. Honest question Jake. How could giving Jordan Morris a single additional minute on the squad benefit the USMNT? We know he is a low-ceiling player from numerous performances on the national team, yet we keep repeating the same cycle of over-hyping performances of mediocre players in our domestic league, despite it ranking 14-15th best in the world. Players like Morris routinely take spots over promising young prospects because of this and it hinders our development of quality depth. Every US fan wants the team to eventually win the World Cup, so I'm curious of your thoughts to how Morris, Roldan and co. help us achieve that goal.

  5. Had high hopes for Morris, him staying in mls stunted his growth. He is unable to compete against European players , just concacaf. We should move on and play younger mls players with more potential
