My son has played against SJ a long time ago in touch rugby and he commented to me how talented SJ is. As the years have rolled by and as SJ has gotten older and he changed clubs and his form was up and down I thought his best years was behind him. How wrong I was .. unbelievable game, a great team effort and the icing on the cake SJ kicking the winning penalty.
THis was one of them games that changes a team. They will only get better from here. Still need to defend better if they want to beat the Panthers though.
SJ has matured and lots showing in his leadership around the park. We'll done SJ you deserve the respect after all you've won a world cup 4 nations and destroyed multiple nations on your journey. Keep it coming brother respect to you and the whole Warriors squad, coaches and physio's
How awesome to see SJ so dam happy, he has been in some bad Warriors seasons over the last many years (minus his sharks venture) and to see him so happy is so pleasing. Having his family around him, his own bed, picking his daughter up from school, this is what makes life more enjoyable. And to have a coaching staff leading from the front, and an owner putting his money where his mouth is. UP THE WAHS 💪💪
You can tell he's in a better space. It reflects in the way he plays. The team is feeding off his energy as well as buying into whatever coach webster's got going on over there. But I've seen this start dip away later in the season in seasons past. Just hope this year is much different and they can sustain this throughout this season.
