Brennan Johnson was the star of the match at the City Ground, scoring an impressive brace to secure a draw for his side. His goals were crucial in salvaging a valuable point for Forest and prevented Everton from climbing out of the relegation zone.

Sitting in the bottom three, Everton was desperate to secure a win and move up the table, but a determined Brennan Johnson dashed their hopes.

The 21-year-old Forest forward single-handedly saved the day for his side, scoring twice to force a draw and salvage a valuable point at home.

Just minutes after Everton took the lead after Demarai Gray’s flawless spot-kick, Johnson pounced on the rebound from Gibbs-White’s saved shot and fired it into the back of the net, scoring his first goal.

The Toffees regained their lead through a set piece when Doucoure nodded in the ball past Keylor Navas.

However, in the 77th minute, Johnson expertly picked out the top left corner to level the score again after Doucoure sloppily lost possession.

Everton face a real threat of relegation, while Forest hold on to 14th place with a slim four-point gap from the drop.
