Shocking from Man United. Tough day that. 2 week wait and we were a shambles. Such a worry the drop off without Casemiro/Eriksen but every player other than De Gea was pretty much awful. Win as a team, lose a team.
The game showed how much we need Casemiro & Eriksen back as soon as possible, our midfield just doesn’t work without them.

2 week wait for that? Newcastle deserved winners. Second rate performances everywhere. So poor without Casemiro/Eriksen but not an excuse for the sub-rate displays from so many others. Again, a long break and we switched off. Punished.

It"s the old DM problem. Utd need backup for Casimiro. I also question Ten Hag's team selection and subs. Reminded me a bit of Liverpool when he subbed every decent player off and Utd got pumped. I don't understand why he took off Verane and Martinez, I mean that's just stupid. Antony was also playing decent. Ten Hag has shown a few times that he can be a bit of a plonker when the pressure cranks up.
We must cut loose more than 8 players, Maguire, bissaka, mctominay, lindelof, Fred, martial, Sancho, elanga, weghorst. Ten hag should deal with Antony matheus properly I haven't seen a €80M-player in him🚮 our academy graduates can do what he is doing
at the end EtH wanted to try something with the subs, wanted to win. i cant blame at all. At the end it does not matter if we lose to 1-0 or 2-0.

You know, we need games like this to send a reset mentality throughout the club. We are nothing close to where we want to be. We need another Casemiro, another Eriksen, a real number 9, an understudy to that number 9 and A better RB. To begin with. 2 absences and we are back to how it was? That’s not good at all. ETH should be getting ready for major signings, the club should be backing him even more. There’s so much work to be done.
I personally think Anthony is a bit letting us down, he is way too casual & doesn’t release the ball on time, neither assisting Dalot at the back.

Players that need to be replaced:
Bruno, Shaw, Fred, McTomenay, Rashford, Anthony, Rengforst, Sancho.
Antony is very average and so one dimensional, Rashford didn't look interested, McTominay should play higher up the pitch and cannot defend, Martinez cannot win a header and he should be our DM while Casemiro is out.
Scott t was OK if Bruno the so called captain closed down the opposition like he dose to the ref he would be so much better.
Ten hag has this thing of using the same team day in day out, no wonder he can't get the best out of every one
This was Ten Hag's first transfer market and he brought in two midfielders who changed our game. Let's stay positive.I can't wait to see how the team changes when he gets in everybody he needs in this squad

Simple Maths!! The majority of players that Ten Hag has Are Still from the old ManUtd so the squad in depth IS still crap!! A Massive Clear-out IS Still needed!!!! End Off!! We Need X2 Strikers, X2 Midfielders (X1 being a DFM), X2 Centre Backs, X2 Right Backs; Dalot crap at defending, ok going forward, Wan-Bissaka brilliant at defending crap at going forward Not good enough from either!!).

I think all responsible fans can see it’s time to drop Weghourst. Aside from the pressing and passion what does he add? Can’t win headers at 6ft6, can’t finish his dinner and is probably slower than Maguire too. The guy is a passenger now and we all know it. Would much rather Rashy up front, Antony on the left and Pellestri on the right.

I like your assessment of the Players, Sam. However, I don't think our poor performance was just due to Casemiro's absence. We still lost 7-0 to Liverpool when Casemiro was playing ( I think for 77 mins of the game…..anyway) . Perhaps the main reason for our bad day was that we were playing away from home and that our players are not emotionally tough enough to take the pressure of a hostile atmosphere?

it is incomprehensible to me how a club like Manu sinks into oblivion due to the absence of two leading players. heaps of world-class footballers who would have the opportunity to show themselves. but if i don't hear and read anything other than Casemiro and Eriksen, plus the already existing lists of who has to leave the club in the summer, doesn't that affect the form? buying stars together does not bring it. there are examples.

It’s crazy to think we are relying on 2 players. Sancho isn’t good enough. He’s not the player he was at BVB and never will be. Wehaust…I’ve seen fridge-freezers move quicker. Why we’ve started Dalot over AWB when he knows how to deal with saint-maximan. Martinez was incredible as always, his energy to win the ball back is always there. I personally think Antony had a good game, he shouldn’t of been subbed, and rashford? Did he even play? He was non existent the whole game. Yes he’s been brilliant this season, but he just hasn’t had the right attitude the past couple of games
