  1. Good call Gonzo, Kehrer was fine at right back last night, and has to play there this weekend, as Coufal is struggling. Daws should start and Emerson has to be given a chance at left back. If he also starts Scamacca, Antonio, Bowen and Cornet, and Dec gels with Pauqueta in midfield, the whole picture changes.

  2. yea he played great last night. Moreover, we actually have a good squad now. All the players are there that would be knocking on top 6. It's just that this is a man utd scenario for Moyes. There are too many good players and he don't know what to do with them. He will not throw out his park the bus robotic system. Those players deserve more than that. The squad has outgrown the manager.

  3. Keher looked really good last nite and shld start on the right and Dawson in the cb position co we need to use Dawson as much as possible so we can get his value up abit and make him look attractive to a club closer to his home… and er Gonzo we're still waiting ? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

  4. Agree mate.
Kehrer stated in a recent press conference a week or so ago that he can play at various positions and he's happy to so. I think his words were something like "i'll play wherever the manager needs me"…..top class attitude!
Coufal unfortunately hasn't impressed me for a while, although his commitment is without question……..I've said it before on here but he's clumsy, he lacks the skill to go past defenders and often doesn't even try (i think because he knows), his crossing for most part is poor and inaccurate and can struggle defending against skilful left wingers. Soucek will often make Coufal his 'goto' pass out on the wing, he gets lots of possession out there, but when he does, i don't get excited because i know nothing will probably come of it…..he's usually out there on his own and has time and space to do something but you kind of know it'll come to nothing 9 times out of ten.

  5. Couldn't agree more..been calling for a 4-3-3 with Emerson and Kerher at LB and RB..they both have the pace. When Aguerd is back we should play a more possession game building up primarily with passes into the midfield from Aguerd and Kerher.

  6. Hi Gonzo, everyone… A decent display from him last night for Germany, Coufal has dropped off a bit this season so bench for me… We have the squad now just getting Moyes to get the best out of them is the dilemma…… COYI !!!

  7. I understand why you think right back, as its a problem for us, however I would prefer to see him play alongside rice. He can pass great, obviously tackle and likes to get ball moving forward quickly.

  8. We can't play 3 CBs as we have no RWB. Coufal and Johnson are only suited to full back. Would like very much for Kehrer to be given a start at RB as Coufal out of form and Johnson injured. I've got a lot of confidence in Kehrer. And the added bonus, it would free up a place at CB for Virgil van Dawson.

  9. Agree with you Gonzo, Kehrer would make the defence even better at RB. Coufal has become a liability because of his poor distribution and lack of pace. And if Johnson comes back I think Kehrer is good enough to even play midfield, to replace Soucek.

  10. Gonzo! As is often the case, you seem to have read my mind. I started thinking exactly the same thing when I watched the England vs Germany game. Especially after it emerged that the Czech Republic team seem to have lost their enthusiasm for Coufal (and even more so Soucek?). However, it would depend upon at least two centre backs being fully fighting fit and there are definitely question marks on that score against Zouma, Dawson and Oggie and obviously Aguerd?
Against Wolves it would be a gamble, and so would be using Downes instead of Soucek, but I would do both. After all, we couldn't be less successful at the moment could we?

  11. I said this the very moment we signed him mate! I totally agree! Coufal is really poor, he played well for about 6 months and is still living off that. Going forward he has to be one of the worst right backs in the league, his crossing is TERRIBLE, and his defending which was once decent is now poor too. Therefore he offers absolutely nothing. He’s the weak link in our team by a long shot, and if we play Kehrer RB, we have a solid CB partnership of Dawson/Ogbonna/Aguerd and Zouma. I honestly thought that was Moysey’s plan all along

  12. 100% agree. Kehrer has played at RB for both Germany & PSG. was quality last night & the stats show he made the most tackles & rice 2nd most. Moyes 100% won’t drop coufal. He plays him when not fit. So I’d be highly surprised if he plays him on the right!

  13. As you first mentioned, absolutely it's all about characters in the dressing room and around the squad because it's a way of getting the best out of a players for the sake of the team.
Moyes brought in personnel's like Patrice Evra ( the first time around) to lift the team spirit & I guess wanted Lingard in, just as much for the same reasons. It can be seen losing half
of the main entertainment's committee (Noble & Fredericks) has left Rice & Cresswell without there side-kicks and effected the moral within the club & sadly in the bar after games!!
Do agree changes afoot are needed to shake the team up a bit and trying players in different positions maybe the answer! If I remember, Frank McAvennie started off as a midfielder!

  14. Probably giving Moyes too much credit thinking he'll notice something. The bloke hasn't managed to notice so many mind meltingly obvious things over the last year that I'm starting to wonder if he has some kind of brain injury or an eyesight problem. More likely that he's a straight up fool though. Got to go.

  15. Not 100% on thos but pretty site kherer is naturally a RB anyways… always plays there for Germany and played RB at PSG. Ability to play across the back line tho for sure

  16. Bang on gonzo I agree with you. Cornet on the right with kehrer pace behind could work but I’d have to play scamacca up top with benrahma on the left doubt moyes would tinker that much though. 😂

  17. Moyes has to be brave and send out a message to the entire squad that they are all droppable; especially the underperforming ones. Go 4-3-3 against Wolves. Kehrer at RB, Dawson at CB, Emerson at LB, Downes, Rice & Paqueta in the middle, Antonio/Benrahma, Scamacca and Cornet up top. Just GO FOR IT Moyes

  18. Kehrer is a cool operator. He’s definitely not afraid of the ball. He has to play. Zouma isn’t a sure thing. I hope Paqueta comes back a different player. He’s a massive disappointment for me. I’d love to see Scamacca and Antonio start against wolves. Coufal needs a rest!!

  19. Kehrer is definitely the better option at the minute, we now have options and competition for places, Moyes must use that to his advantage. Dropping Coufal could be good for him, make him recover his form. That’s what’s so frustrating about the current situation, playing out of form players isn’t helping anyone, the players themselves, the team or the manager.

  20. GK areola RB kehrer CBx2 zouma & dawson LB emerson CDMx2 rice & downes CAM paquetta RW & LW cornet & antonio ST scamacca as the team for wolves maybe needs a big change change and have bowen fornals benrahma lanzini & even soucek to come on later in the game

  21. German fans dont rate Kehrer at all and most of the comments online want him dropped, our fans think he is amazing, just dont get it at all, he is extremely error prone

  22. we can't just completely throw Coufal in the bin gonzo.
He's a good player he needs some support.
the small patterns of play that we need down the right hand side aren't going to come when he looks up to find Bowen running around in circles infront of him and Soucek to his left. Kehrer will also struggle with that…

Cresswell usually finds benrahma fornals and rice in-and around that area of the pitch who are much better at keeping the ball and we always see a lot more decent bits of play happen down that side.

Coufal just needs a bit of help and Moyes needs to get him playing well again.
we can't just just smash his confidence and let him rot on the bench. there's a good player in there.
