Bruh, I was at the game. KMJ was just saying he is dead tired from all the traveling and etc but the media made a story out of it. But, as a Korean, I love the Korean National Team and this teams means way more to me than Napoli. While I want KMJ to have a great club career, he will be measured mostly by his national team success in Korea. If KMJ ain’t in the Korean National Team I ain’t following him. This is why Son is a rare gem due to his humility and self awareness.
In the end KMJ will have a better career with trophies than Son. Son always send msg to the fans after matches like this but the timing of his post would’ve made KMJ think it was directed at him. So i get the unfollow and all that …rather childish. Hopefully they work that out. Plenty of big stars sit out friendlies. Some players fly back even after very slightly feeling discomfort during training before the friendlies. Of course Korean people with their blind nationalism would never understand and just rip him up on SNS…
Hopefully, napoli will win it all and so it will be an even bigger triumph for him after experiencing these challenges and the hate that i don’t think he deserves.
