terry ferdinand and adams easy
John Terry was fantastic but played in a "defense first" team, that rarely pushed up to the halfway line, so his lack of pace was rarely taken advantage of. Ferdinand, Adams, Campbell, vidic, stam all played in teams that held higher lines. Terry is no.3 on the best centre back list for me (Ferdinand and stam 1 and 2) but, to say he is far better than Adams is ridiculous. Adams was imperious.

Adams should be in I know that but so should Terry and Ferdinand. To be fair they should of been there before Kompany. They all deserve to but it's a matter of when. I dislike Terry but he was an incredible defender.

Rory , seriously SMH .. Cole is the best LB ever .. Heard of Roberto Carlos? Better than Maldini? Jesus..I think he has suffered too many loses this season and it has twisted his brain. Adams is the greatest defender in England's history. That famous back five of Arsenal was something that I haven't ever seen replicated since and it may never happen again. And it was Adams who mentored Cole for him to become the best English LB. Adams is the best CB in english football history hands down mate! Go walk it off.
