Stop with the little icy crap you no talent
A excellent point made by Albert & Greg, about how Belichick seems to be following the same old formula of adding average talent around a elite QB, except we don't have a elite QB. Albert gives the example of Belichick settling on adding average starting and back-up OT's (Riley Reiff and Calvin Anderson) to the Patriots O-line. On Phil Perry's podcast, Phil thinks the Patriots are done addressing the O-line, and that the 1/14 pick should be a WR. I believe the Patriots must still add a OT at 1/14 or trade back a few places, gain a additional pick, and pick OT Darnell Wright or Dawand Jones. (Trade Trent Brown) Then address a deep CB position in Round 2. And maybe a WR Jaylen Reed in Round 3.
with all due respect….
on what planet is "no relationship" a fine relationship?
do we just think Dhop was lying when he said that?
whats the deal with so many smart people thinking they are cool?
Wtf is judge doing as assistant hc
Tom Lopez ….. That name brings back memories. I played for Coach Tom Lamb back in the glory days of Natick. I wanted to play against LS soooooo bad!!!!
What I like about Bill Belichich is.. IF HE WAS MANAGING THE RED SOX IN 1986..HE WOULD HAVE HAD DAVE STAPLETON AT FIRST IN THE LAST INNING. HE DOES WHATS BEST FOR THE TEAM. THATS WHY WE HAVE 6 SUPER BOWL RINGS ๐. LETS NOT FORGET THIS.
Need really good assistant and position coaches. Poaching has cleaned out their coaching talent and they must restock. Billy O will be fine, no adult supervision needed. If BOB rings the bell, let Jerod try his wings elsewhere…Judge, too.
Greg bedard one of the few non- bias sports media people that covers the Patriots
Great conversations and insights between you two. And I'm glad to see that Robert seems to be putting his foot down a bit – I think Bill's seat is a little warm…
One last comment – the more I see BB flailing away, the more I put the success of the Pats on Brady.
outstanding and mature analysis, without the click-bait drama. At one extreme is Colin Cowherd, who is a horse's ass, and then there's you guys. Real talk. Love it.
Love Bob Kraft but I think heโs starting to verge on senility
Well if this year is a referendum on Belichick he better hope Mac succeeds (iow he can't afford to sabotage him again) because now their fortunes are tied together (I guess he'll have to act like he cares)
Kraft has to make nice for another year and then Bills gone
Pats fans suck….ppl forget we went 10 years without a superbowl in the Brady era …give it some time the groundwork is still there well never be the lions, unless belichick leaves
Great insights, great analytics, great foreheads and a great video. Thanks guys
What annoys me about the likes of Tom Curran, Felger and Albert Breer is that they attribute everything to BB and Kraft's relationship. I have seen all three slate the Patriots poor performance yet only mention Kraft and BB relationship, they never actually talk about Football or why exactly the Patriots have been performing poorly as of late…. to contrast, Greg Bedard has been the ONLY Patriots reporter who can actually see the problems on the field and calls them out…. Boston Media wake up and start listening to Greg and get your heads out your asses with the BB and Kraft telenovela BS (aka Felger's Fantasyland)
Sure! Why pay $17M for a WR when you can throw $11M of that at 4 special teamers! Bill….
I think this is another example of Billโs childish approach and an FU to the fans. Joe Judge has no business holding a position in the NFL.
I understand how hindsight appears that Pats blew it in 2018 draft because they didn't get Lamar…but Wynn and Michel contributed to the team winning a Super Bowl. Michel's playoff run was amazing. He scored the only TD in SBLIII.
looks like we're stuck in the basement you reap what you sow
Jeudy has been hurt. Waddle. Hamler. Beckham. Devonta Smith. Thornton. See? But JSN looks like he can take tackles. Quick > fast.
Bill the GM has to some extent sabotaged Bill the Coach in the last few seasons and some of his recent comments and decision-making speak to a man whose age and understanding of the current NFL game are to be questioned. All sports teams belove their past successes but are utterly beholden to their current standing. So where does the current Patriots team stand? It seems far removed from it's glory days and the gap between them and other teams may also be growing.
The case with rebuild and finding a new QB – look on Seattle and Pete. He had many bad years after his success. And he is still in Seattle. Look at Bill… he had too many successess (8 rings – 6 as HC/GM and 2 as DC) and you expect more from him. It takes time. Look on other teams and you will see it is not so easy and you never know how much time you need.
Two writers for prestigious publications over the years talk like adolescents: "Like", "You know?", "Right?". It's impossible to follow any idea they are trying to formulate. Then there's phrases such as: "Very unique". You can be very unusual but you can't be very unique. It's unbearable.
Robert Kraft can put all the pressure he wants until he opens up his wallet and has that jack ass pick the right players. Weโre still gonna be in the toilet with the Jets that youโre in last place in the whole AFC forget about AFC East you guys can talk to your blue in the face it ainโt gonna matter weโre gonna suck.
Juju is OK and we need another guy thatโs better than him along with the other guys. We got least have a half of a chance to get a fireplace. That way the asphalt can stay.
