I cant understand why fans would be against the Mason Mount singing if it happens. We need to look at players that fit what we need in midfield. Mount would be a great fit. Young England international with quality and an Great work ethic. We dont need world beaters. We just need 3 or 4 young strong work horses in midfield.

I'm just not sold on Mount & 70 mil is a joke. It'll be £40 mil tops. He seems to look good not doing much imo & I'm not sure I can see him leaving London let alone Chelsea. Not fussed at all if we don't get him.

As a free in 2024 would be better. Personally, I’d look at Tielemans on a free this year. Alex Scott from Bristol City is also another shout as a paid transfer. Three midfielders we must be in the running to sign on a free are Gayrio / Lawrence from PSG and Macario from Lyon.

Mount is good. Really tenacious when it comes to tackling he always drags back after lost ball, he never gives the ball up. A certain baldy that later joined Pessilona vibes ;p He's young still, got ways to improve but make no mistake i love Trent but in all honesty i would hands down let Trent go given he is SHITE defensively get good defender for Trent and sign Mount if it would be possible.
Trent's tracking back does not exist. PERIOD. He is losing almost every fucking defending 1 vs 1 contest. Just unbearable. His offensive qualities are like okay but defensively he's not existant at all. Neco Williams does way better job than Trent defensively and offensively if only he will put up good work he wont be any less quality with crosses.

4-3-3 moving into a 3-4-3 "box midfield" formation when on the ball is what Klopp & Lijnders are both looking at evolving into next season hense the links to both Mount & Bellingham. Trent is the perfect player for the inverted full back role to step into midfield to make it a box midfield
