During the Euro 2020 Group B matchup between Denmark and Finland, played in Parken stadium Copenhagen, Danish star midfielder Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch during the first half, causing the game to be temporarily abandoned. Medics rushed the pitch and successfully managed to revive him and he ultimately survived this gruesome incident. Finland managed to upset the hosts with a 0-1 victory.

The game should have been stopped! It should not have been allowed to play on. If this happens again, there should be a ruling on this now, it must not happen again.
Well done to these commentators going from commentating an opening match in the EURO 2020/21 to a life and death situation. I watched it on TV live and it seems to me that everything I saw were textbook optimal response. Not a second wasted anywhere while others shielded and comforted. Danes can be proud. UEFA, not so much, they should be ashamed of their actions that day.
