  1. What an emotional response. Tells you all you need to know about the bond between manager and captain at Liverpool. Is there a better relationship in the Premier League

  2. Voted for by 'football' writers. If presss conferences are anything to go by i'd be hard pressed to call 90% of them writers at all. Writers who will of course choose a british player where possible. The players player of the year is the one worth winning – being recognised by your peers. Let's see if Henderson wins that one.

  3. Did he deserve this award? Probably not. But Henderson is the type of player that makes the team tick. You won't find anything out of the ordinary in his play, but he's arguably one of their most important players still.

  4. What most fans don't understand is, in order to coach a successful football team you need much more than talented players. Of course ability-wise Henderson is maybe average, but he is smart, passionate, dedicated and a leader. I've coached football teams for a number of years now and in my experience the skillful offensive players are great to watch and of course very helpful, but the biggest impact has for sure a central midfielder, who works a lot and makes it seem easy. The hardest thing in football is doing the simple things right. Thats what he does. So was he the best player? no. Was he the most important player? Yes!

  5. Leads by example and has been the BEST captain and traits like that shouldn't be overlooked. Talent wise he may not be the glamorous Mane or fabulous KDB but he's the glue in a strong spine that is always a source of upliftment, courage and effort.

The fellow pros will choose KDB anyway, so let Hendo have his shine.

  6. Jordan behind the camera's : did you capture me as i was crying ?

Camera man : yes i did

Jordan : perfect now people could actually feel sorry for me and not shitting on me because kdb clearly deserved it and i just ran away with it 😂😂.

  7. If De Bruyne and Henderson had exactly the same seasons but played for the other's club would the latter have won it?

If you claim yes then you're lying.

  9. Beautiful. It's like your father telling you he's proud of you.
To the haters…Jordan has put 100% in every game he's played. It's not about step overs and 30yd free kicks it's about being the glue that held the champions together.
Sunderland is proud of you lad.

  10. As a arsenal fan I’m happy Jordan won it, his got talent, leadership, grit and without him Liverpool wouldn’t be that really strong team. Well done Jordan happy for you I believe you deserve it

  11. overhyped player, KDB should've won pfa, just cuz this dude is English and sensitive doesn't mean anything coming from an arsenal fan
