Tim Ream spoke to the controversy involving Gio Reyna’s parents and Gregg Berhalter
USA defender Tim Ream said that the players, including Giovanni Reyna, have ‘moved on’ from the controversy post the World Cup.
The national team’s head coach, Gregg Berhalter, was investigated for domestic violence, after being reported by Reyna’s mother to US soccer.
Danielle Reyna previously had a public dispute with Berhalter over her son’s lack of playing time at Qatar 2022.
Speaking about the situation, Ream said that the Borussia Dortmund forward was ‘training hard’, and showing ‘a desire to be a part of the group’.
The defender also said that he wouldn’t mind if Berhalter continued as the USMNT boss, as he ‘has laid very good foundations for the team’ since he took over in 2018.
