  1. Trent hasn't really changed much he's still great attacking and not great defending. But Liverpool have less control because of their midfield

  2. Fabinho has been much worse than Trent this season. Trent has been terrible but Fabinho has genuinely been playing like a hungover Sunday league player.

  3. tbh I think if Richarlison goes back and plays for the brazil national team he's gonna be good again. He seems to turn up just for his country, maybe a motivation or comfortability thing

  4. You’re not alone, Mark. Something needs to change, but the world order is likely to collapse before we get a new arrangement. The games between South American countries and perhaps between African countries mean something, but in Europe and N. America the matches are mostly a waste of time.

  5. Raul de Tomas story is even worse because after his career high season he pushed for a move from Espanyol and they only gave him at the end of the transfer market as payback, he wanted to go free for bigger clubs, but instead they sold him to Rayo

  6. I would love to see a 7 worst debuts video from you. We were having a discussion at work and could think of a few funny ones but I bet you could find loads.

  7. The first game i saw son out of form, was crazy.
HƩ looked like hƩ lost all confidence hƩ ever had , in 1 game.
Something bad happened to him is what i thought.
HĆ© hasnt recovered from it yet.
Like i mean, hƩ couldnt do anything right that game and ever since..he is struggeling

  8. As someone who watches Liverpool each week, Trent isn't that bad a defender. He switches off (particularly on crosses to the back post) but the reason he looks bad is because he's overloaded every time. Salah doesn't track back and Elliott often doesn't so he is almost always having to cover two or even three players. The whole team has been misfiring this season and it's pretty unfair to target probably the second best playmaker in the league

  9. The problem with Trent is, whilst he's undoubtably been bad, and other teams have been focusing on him as a weak spot, it glosses over the fact that aside from Allison and Robertson (and even then not all good) the rest of the team has been jaded and poor. The problem really has been the effects of 60 games last season going to the final of every comp and then a short pre-season and a world cup stupidly crammed into the middle of a season. That has all combined to have a bad detrimental effect seemingly on the whole squad.

All we can hope is that with a proper pre-season and some new signings next season they'll be recharged and do better. Who those signings will be depends on whether Liverpool get European football at all next season, obviously Champions League is ideal, but getting Europa League is the minimum as winning it garantees Champions League and the season after will be the start of the new European League format, so everything changes for the 24/25 season. The summer is going to be crucial.

Some have suggested Trent should move to midlfield, which I think he could do, but the question then is, is Ramsay good enough? do they need another RB? they need 2 midfielders and at least one DC with Matip likely going (and possibly Gomez) as well as the likes of Ox and Keita. I can't see them having the transfer budget to get enough.

  10. Can you do a video on Napoli’s loan army. They have a collection of players who aren’t good enough for the first team who are in their mid 20s out on loan to many seria a and seria b teams. All within the Italian system. Can you do a video on this

  11. Auba isn’t fallen from grace he just need to be in the right environment to thrive Chelsea isn’t a good fit for him

  12. Fabinho looks like he’s in the space jam movie and someone stole his talent it’s shocking how far he’s falling from his own standards

  13. Trent one is a bit unfair imo. Yes defensively he’s been very suspect but if you look deeper into his attacking stats he’s playing at the same level however the chances aren’t being put away as often by the forwards. His numbers are suffering as a result of the forwards at Liverpool. Defensively he can definitely improve

  14. Trent been exposed mainly because he's not getting the midfield cover he used to get. Fabinho and Henderson not in form after injuries. Elliot lacks the physicality and can't cover for Trent. In my opinion, Liverpool should play a 5-2-3 or 3-4-3 for the time being until their midfield recovers their form… 3 central defenders Van Dijk, Konate and Gomez should allow Trent to attack freely and defend leisurely.

  15. How are Belotti's underlying numbers this season? It's fine to have playmaking tendencies rather than poaching tendencies if you have a scorer like Tammy Abraham playing beside you.

  16. Love your video always have… What about the best and worst interim managers of the Premier League think that will be a great video… Following the events at Crystal Palace and Tottenham

  17. Wait, woah woah Alfie hang on. Can we just do a check on Martin Hinteregger? Was playing as a centre half for Eintract Frankfurt last season, had his contract terminated by them in Summer 2022, now plays for SGA Sirnitz as a striker (17 goals in 16 games) who play in the FIFTH tier of Austrian football. Over 140 appearances for RB Salzburg and more than 100 appearances for Frankfurt, not to mention 67 caps for Austria. He won the Europa League with Eintracht, then subsequently retired at the age of 29 and signed for his home town club. If there's a quicker turnaround than that, I'd like to see it!

That being said, Matty Longstaff scoring against Man U on his debut and then trotting out for Colchester United is a bit of a drop off.
