Fulham shown three red cards in 40 seconds.
At Old Trafford, Fulham suffered a 3-1 defeat after leading the match. Aleksandar Mitrovic became infuriated when Willian received a red card for a handball, prompting the Serbian striker to barge into referee Chris Kavanagh, resulting in his immediate dismissal as well. Fulham manager Marco Silva also received a red card for dissent during the subsequent VAR review. The incident has been described as a moment of madness by Mitrovic, with Roy Keane criticizing Fulham for their self-destructive behavior.

  1. From my point of view , u seeing it the wrong way , Mitrovic incident is bad , u cannot do that to a referee, an get away with it , so I think the ref was right in sending him off , these players r suppose to set an example , not just for kids watching but all who support the game in general , the Bruno incident is totally different in that he neva push the linesman but merely touch the him as he went past , to the issue was the Liverpool player held on to the ball to prevent Bruno from taking a quick throw , hence it infuriated Bruno to an extent. no malice there , a yellow card maybe but not too serious to warrant one , remember this is football , lives at stake so u can't expect to get thrown our for trivial things like that , just saying and thanks .

  2. Bruno's wasn't a red because number 1 the assistant touched him first and 2 it was barely a touch were as mitrovic swung his arm aggressively and then didn't stop selective memory oh and Haaland grabbed a player round the throat more aggressively than Casemiro but guess who and who didn't get sent off

  3. How can anyone compare mitrovic incident with bruno ha
Bruno should have got a yellow….nothing more
it was a light dismissive push, and walked away, nothing more… mitrovic looked very abusive and aggressive

  4. not a mufc fan but thats a totally deserving red for mitrovic. disagreeing with ref decision is one thing (free yellow), going in aggressive is another (free red). id say hes lucky to be straight red in this case.should learn to control his head. fulham is in control and at least can get a way with a draw. damn stupid this mitrovic

  5. I've been watching football for 50 years and the way it has been heading to for the past decade and a half is, seems to me, a point of no return. Players became waaaay over payed, protected like some politicians, more actors then sportsmen, spending more time rolling on the grass then running on it, acting like ballerina princess… Football used to be a male sport. Not even to mention the WAR. OK, it has some (few) good sides but ruins the game most of the time. The worst part of nowadays football is the refereeing and the refs themselves. There are a couple of decent ones (as seen on the world Cup and throughout the Champions League) but the main majority is a bunch of sissies giving themselves a major role in a game that should be about the players and not about them. This was the typical example of that. Refs should and must be a good psychologist to comprehend and measure the stress and adopt to any situation. This is a typical example where the ref just lost it. Do not want to dig into the subject of possible subornation or bribery, interest of big money in football, but at least we can say that something stinks. Penalty or not is one thing, red card for playing (or not; deliberately or not) is an another thing. Red card for that is also arguable. The only almost clear situation is with the red card for the Fulham coach. Though we saw and heard way too many swearing from coaches in the near past, pretty rarely have we seen getting a red card for that. The peak of the "moment of losing it" from the ref's side was the red for Mitrovic. Any even average referee would in a situation of that high tension try to calm it down by being an authority, not falling in fire like it is expected to happen with players. Standing firmly while an upset player is yelling at you and cursing you, showing him a yellow card and reaching for the back pocket saying "one more word and it will be a red" is the proper way to calm down even the maddest and angriest player. Mitrovic is not an over tempered South American beginner in the PL and knows very well what a red card would mean to his teammates in the very match and in future matches for the club itself. Summa summarum, the player may lose it but the ref must never. In this case, the ref failed. And failed miserably. This might as well spoil the entire PL season for Fulham. The subject should not be the punishment for Mitrovic bit the referring license of Kavanagh.
