Everything changes for Davies with Nagelsman fired from Bayern. We don’t know what Tuchel will do with Bayern in the back. If he goes with what worked at Chelsea than we will see a back 3 and your hypothesis holds. But my guess is Tuchel will ultimately try to build toward a back 4 if not for the remainder of this season then for the start of next season.
Alex, with all due respect to Atiba, the Atiba chapter should be closed. Give him his 20 minutes at BMO then sub him off and retire. Definitely can see him as a great player mentor but he’s a liability on the pitch – he’s not a Modric who’s kept his legs into his late 30s.
Focus on getting Jonathan David the ball, that’s all it’s going to take to be the best team in North America; Jonathan David is the gold mine.. he’s something real special
