      Let’s be honest: the knives were out because he went to Liverpool, the Manchester United-loving media hated that he spurned their golden god for us. So every mistake he made was cathartic for them

      Darwin is so chaotic and unpredictable that even his own team does not know what he will do next. Because he himself does not even know. In a team so systematically organised as Lpool was, it is a bit like putting a bull in a china shop. Individually he is a very exciting player, and if he can be coached then Lpool have a star in the making.

      BUT…is he coachable? He is pure instinct. As of now he does as much damage for the team as he does good things. So one can ask if Lpool may have done a poor scouting job on this one. Now they have to change the way they play for one player.

      Lpools defence starts with pressing from the top. Nunez and the way they have to change to adapt to him may have caused issues throughout the team.
      Or…it is just a good player coming in to a team that was already falling apart.

      Liverpool signed Gakpo due to injuries on the left, are we forgetting it takes time to settle in England, not to mention a new language and a different way of playing, this video is aging well already 😂

      He may not be doing as expected right now and I hope he will improve, but people is blaming him a lot for things that are not his fault. Like transferring him at an insane price, or the whole team not actually doing as expected either.

      As someone who’s watched every minute almost fo Liverpool this season, he’s genuinely class, can’t wait for next season when he bags 25 goals and 10 assists and shuts everyone up

      Darwin is developing by the game week but I feel like his a player we didn't really need , our midfield is now naked because we focused on the wrong position

      It's interesting that the last outfield player LFC fans are worried about at Liverpool is Nunez. Tells you something. Other than Alisson and VVD, I can't think of any other player I want on the team sheet more than Nunez. He is electric and getting used to the EPL. Mane constantly missed big chances, and he did not score that many goals (lots of important ones, to be fair).

      Nunez is so good. I’m a huge Liverpool fan who watches every minute of every game, and I’m not afraid to admit when players are not up to par. Nunez though, is incredible. Especially since he moved to the left wing, literally EVERYTHING positive that happens on the attack goes through him. It’s even more apparent how important he is to any of our attacking success when he doesn’t play, because when he’s not on the field, our attack is extremely flat and lifeless.

      I honestly think Liverpool paid too much for Darwin Nunez. He is a player who hasn't shown much yet, and in my opinion he is overrated. Sure, he's got potential, but he's not quite ready for the jump to a club of Liverpool's caliber. I hope he lives up to her assessment of him, but so far he hasn't quite convinced me.

      2 weeks later and hes already improved a lot. Hes scored 4 in the last 5 games (number of games since this was posted)

      I don't care what anyone says. I've been watching this guy since he was playing at Benfica and I know he's gonna become one of the best in the world. I think if he stays healthy he can break salahs record in the future
