  1. Please continue to write geelong off…. Makes it even sweeter when the premier team of the competion proves the haters wrong once again year after year 👍

  2. The most concerning thing about the cats is that they have several players who are 30+ who more than likely will retire in the next 2 seasons or have a severe decline in performance (Patrick Dangerfield, Tom Hawkins, Cam Guthrie, Rhys Stanley, Isaac smith, Mitch Duncan, Gary Rohan, Tom Stewart). The concerning part is all of these players are key parts of the Cats at the moment and have been for quite a while, if they don't start moving some of these guys on soon, they may have a severe rebuild in 2-3 seasons when majority of these players decide to retire.
The age of Geelong may catch up to them as I don't see them having many key position players in the mix that are young…they may find themselves in the position that Hawthorn are in currently where they won premierships with a majority of older players who then decided to retire or move on and then because they weren't playing many youngsters in key positions or developing the next crop of talent and leaders…they were left with a massive rebuild which they are still trying to figure out.

  3. Geelong r top of the heap with 4 recent flags.15 sides r way behind them with only 3, 2, 1 & even zero flags from the last 31 seasons! & Only got pipped by 8 points., Not 58 points..

  4. Don't write this champion club off,I'm a carlton supporter, and these guys will be top 4,when they get there best together, watch this space, love my blues so I will enjoy this moment, but don't right the cats off,

  5. The wobbles beating the Cats in round 1 is fair enough, but for a team to beat them for the second round is very difficult, which shows the Blues are better than most thought!?!
The Cats will be fine as they slowly build up their season towards the finals;-)
