  1. Any idea why Rafa Benitez is not being mentioned? Massive expience, available and generally popular at Liverpool, Newcastle and Everton. Would take Nuno, but prefer Rafa.

  2. Clement has done well with every club he's managed. I know it's a lower level but his win percentage is very good. Might be a good call.

  3. It strikes me as a huge deal that Radz nixed Orta's hire of a manager. That does not seem like a good monent in an owner-DoF relationship. I hope we can somehow get a decent managerial hire and then worry about who our next DoF is later, because it's hard to see Orta carrying on no matter who owns the team in the summer. I fear there may be a toxic environment behind the curtain, and that can't go on too long.

  4. Why are the board obsessed with bloody Argentines??
Please look closer to home and stop dreaming the last argentine we had didn't or wouldn't speak English and mumbled in Spanish Post match which loses a lot in translation so why do it agsin
FED up of all the speculation MAKECA DECISION FFS!!!!

  5. Of those choices, I would pick Nuno..so pleased Alfred did not get the job. Jesse Marsch getting the Southampton job is interesting. Victor Orta must go and hopefully, the 49's will dispense with his services once they fully take over. Angus Kinnear needs to leave too. He's more trouble than he's worth.

  6. For me we should keep Scoobs `for the rest of the season and get the manager that we want in the summer when they are more available.. Orta has mostly a bad track record. I give Jessie 6 months at Southampton.

  7. Nuno not worth having to pay that much on a buy out clause, can’t understand why gerrard would be so bad,no buy out clause for him,if everyone is thinking of what happened at villa, what about nuno at spurs.if we leave it to skubala championship next year .

  8. Great Stream Ger,Look's like Gennaro Gattuso been added to the list of Managers to be linked with the Leeds job, he's managed at Valencia, AC Milan and Napoli and played for Rangers and AC Milan.

  9. Already seen on other channels that they don’t want Nuno they won’t be happy unless it’s bielsa it’s know so plain to see Nuno wolves hammered us every time we played them and let’s not forget they won championship with a record points total came up and did just as good until injury’s hit

  10. Gerrard needs to manage in the championship for a few years. Rangers is an easy job compared to anything in the top 2 leagues in England. Not seen any better options than Skubes seeing the season out with the other2 at the moment.
Iraola is free in the summer, let's hang till then. Yes we will survive. I'll leave the negative talk to the online experts.

  11. Maybe Orta is trying to sabotage the club because the botched transition from Marcelo to Jesse is being pinned on him. Appointing the guy who is (maybe) still bitter that his big project has been binned off to lead the new manager search seems foolish. Of course he isn't going to have any great alternatives in his back pocket, if he did he might have been more receptive to the idea of sacking Jesse

  12. Gerado Martino he sounds like a very good appointment, the board aren't going to pay £8 million for Nuno or surely they would have tried to get the deal done for Iraola, hopefully I'm wrong like you Ger no way do we want Gerrard, only 1 man worth considering who lives in Merseyside Rafa , why if we want an interim manager don't we go with Benitez, I'm happy with Benitez Nuno or Martino. What about Southampton what on earth was there board thinking , would love to know what the Saints fans think about the appointment of Jesse.

  13. The whole knee jerk reaction from the board, has really made us look ridiculous…Do we think that Jesse would have got a point out of the two Man U games?..I think yes..They should have at least gave him those games…It’s going to come back and bite us on the arse..Who’s the Twentieth name on the list..Mike Bassett? Thanks Ger, Excellent as always.. MOT!

  14. Hey Ger, I have to admit I don't care if there are differing opinions in the boardroom. My experience of board rooms is that this is healthy and means your not surrounded by yes men! They can fight all they want if it means they make the right decisions for #LUFC. We do not need another quick appointment as they did with Marsch!

Also, I wish people would stop bashing Orta over the amusement arcade picture. It is an old picture from Scarborough. Zoom in and see that Jack Clarke and Kalvin Phillips are in the background! 🤣

  15. If they're serious about staying in the premier League they need to stop playing around & go all out for the best for the job. All the speculation isn't good for the players. Just my opinion 🤷

  16. this is becoming self sabotage by orta – the whole yankeedoodle sh&tshow has fallen through and they've all lost interest. It's all about the sale and only the sale.

  17. How often has a sacked manager found a new club before the club finds a new manager? I wonder whether the amateurish bungling that happens in top-level football would be tolerated in any other sector with so much cash involved. In any other industry, decisions would be taken on the basis of real data and working models and not hunches.

  18. Ger I want nuno, who do you want, I think Conor wants that Pe teacher chewbacca, nice bloke but can he mix it as a manager in the heat of battle.
