The Black Stars’ head coach, Chris Hughton, has named his lineup for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nation qualifier against Angola.
Hughton, who is eyeing a winning start to his reign, has put together a strong starting lineup for the match, which will take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
After impressing at the World Cup, Lawrence Ati-Zigi has retained his position in goal, while Jordan Ayew will continue on the flanks.
The team will play in Hughton’s preferred 4-2-3-1 formation, with Ati-Zigi behind the back four of Dennis Odoi, Daniel Amartey, Alexander Djiku, and Gideon Mensah.
For the midfield, Thomas Partey will captain the side and partner with Edmond Addo in a double pivot, while Jordan Ayew and Kamaldeen Suleman will play on the wings.
Mohammed Kudus will play as the playmaker, and Inaki Williams will lead the line.
The match is set to kick off at 16:00 GMT.
