MY THOUGHTS ON MASON MOUNT AT CHELSEA FC. Mason Mount is yet to sign a new contract at Chelsea FC. Chelsea have recently offered Mount £170k per week, similar to the offer made during the Roman Abramovich regime two years ago. Mount’s reluctance to accept Chelsea’s recent offers has led people to believe Graham Potter omitted him from the match-day squad against Leicester at the weekend. GB my opinion is; if Mount has been in form for the past 12months I don't think our owners are stupid not to hurriedly step up their offer to £190k or £200k per week. But he has drastically have a deep in form and still ain't willing to improve. From what I know, he's has been poisoning the dressing room with poor form and arrogance. He reacts negatively when substituted, a vic-captain should be a leader and not some piper that doesn't know how to control his angers.
For me, I think Mount, Luftus Check, Ziyech and Pulisic should all go. However, Connor should be given little time. Dennis Zakaria and Felix should both be signed to fill Mount's void. Like you rightly said " NO ONE IS BIGGER THAN OUR CLUB", Romeo Lukaku is an example of that.

Enzo producing passes that Mount failed to produce even one since he broke into the first team. Taking so many free kicks and yet no outcome. I like him, but from a footballing perspective he is overated honestly
It's not logical to change our formation just for Mason Mount to fit in, the team is much better in a back three, two holding midfielders, flying wingbacks and front three. Currently he doesn't fit , Joao Felix can play in the wing better than him. So he should put greed aside and sign for the team or be sold.

mount should just take the contract but they can compromise by adding a possibility of a performance based wage increase. he's a top player and it could motivate him to improve upon his current bad spell of form.
People say he should not play if he is not going to re-sign. They are cheering Potter for this decision. Yet they dont have an issue with Kovacic given armband + Pulisic getting cameos, both running out of contract at the same time as Mason. Mount has way too much haters. I am quite upset with the fanbase for throwing this kid under the bus. You are killing Chelsea soul.

I hope mount signs a new contract and gets back on the team… Chelsea fans should stop the routine of wanting players out just because they drop form… We know how good he is and what he has done.. hopefully he stays… The money isn't yours.

Sadly I don't think Mason has a role at the club as we have players better than him and as recent results are showing he isn't missed.
Maybe the best thing for Mason is a fresh start and if he goes I wish him all the best.

One of Mason Mount or Conor Gallagher would be definitely sold this summer of that there is no doubt. In Jan it looked more like Gallagher would be one to go but as of now if Mason does not accept the terms offered by the Club he looks more like the one who would be sold.

all in all, it is the best if chelsea just keep mason mount. doesnt matter what the salary is. it is still gonna be cheaper than 100 mil felix.
Think the Leicester game has been blown way out of proportion. Mount sadly suffered do to the starboy narrative. Tuchel overplayed him and NEVER really let him develop in a set position. Now he is more of just put him anywhere and he will be decent at it. The one think Lampard did right in the end was put him in ONE position to develop as that type of player.
But it takes two to tango, he is just as much a part of the stalled negotiations. Well and his dad/agent.

I would also like mount to stay. However, I never get mad at players leaving for more money cause at the end of the day this is their job. You're supposed to make as much money as humanely possible. Plus you never know how long your career will be playing a game.
Mount probably has some personal issues that effecting his later form. He just needs few weeks off to sort himself out, and will be back to normal, just like Cucurella. I really believe he really loves Chelsea, same as Gallagher and Loftus, and those guys will do whatever it takes to be at Chelsea. Billy Gilmour probably regrets his life for leaving Chelsea. I don't think Zacariah and Zyech will stay, and there will be lots of games and enough room for everyone, as long as Chelsea will be winning. DO NOT PANIC!!!!!!!

I’m growing sick and tired of seeing Mount doing constant promotional shoots for fashion companies and sports brands. He’s been distracted by all of this off the field crap. He was a great free kick taker and a decent player, but he’s been pathetic this season. He’s at risk of sinking without trace in regards the England team also, he’s blessed to be at Chelsea and need to be working like a warrior on the training pitch to improve.
