(stats all correct as of 21st March)
Shola Shoretire – Bolton
Shola joined Bolton in January and has already had 10 starts and 2 sub appearances, creating 2 assists. A good opportunity for him to get some first team minutes in League One

Will Fish – Hibernian
played 12 league games – scored 2 goals

Matej Kovar – Sparta Prague
22 year old keeper – played 17 league games and had 7 clean sheets

Charlie Savage – Forest Green Rovers
6 apps 1 goal after joining in Jan

Charlie McNeill – Newport County
11 games (7 starts) 1 goal so far after joining in Jan

Ethan Laird
Ethan Laird has been a player on many United fans’ radars for the past few years. However, his loan move to Queens Park Rangers may be his last chance to prove himself as a worthy Manchester United player.

Ethan Galbraith
Galbraith is playing his football this season out on loan at Salford City – and is doing pretty well!

The 21 year old Northern Irishman has played most of his football this season as a number 8 in Salford’s midfield; scoring 4 goals and 3 assists in 27 league games.

Hannibal Mejbri
Hannibal Mejbri has made 31 league appearances for Birmingham City, 20 of which have been starts, but he has yet to truly impact his new team:
He’s only grabbed 5 assists for his mid-table side and 1 goal

Hannibal is a young (19 years old), skilful and fiesty, he therefore has a lot of room for more development – However:
he has not been performing well in the attacking sense with just 1 key pass on average per game.

Alvaro Fernandez
While Alvaro Fernandez has not made an appearance for the Manchester United first team, that may change in the future after a relatively impressive loan spell at Preston North End so far.

United signed the Spaniard on a free transfer from Real Madrid in 2020 and he performed well for United under 23s last season (4 goals and 6 assists) – decent for a left back!

Fernandez has played 34 games in all comps since joining with 4 assists. Despite missing four games through injury and he has been a common name on the team-sheet.

He even got himself in the Championship team of the week recently!

Alex Telles

He began the season on the bench for Sevilla but has since slowly been eased into the La Liga side’s starting line-up – He has now made 27 apps for Sevilla in all comps collecting 3 assists.
however he’s only started 10 out of his 18 la liga appearances

Telles joined United in the summer of 2020 and hasn’t really impressed too much.

Eric Bailly
Bailly has spent this season on loan at Marseille and i think it’s safe to say he has struggled.

Like we all know, Bailly struggles with injuries and this season has been no different.

Amad Diallo
Amad Diallo is another positive loanee, one that seems to be working out very well!

Amad went out on loan to Sunderland at the start of the season and has been looking really good!

Diallo has enjoyed a dramatic improvement in form, having struggled to make an impact at Sunderland in his first few games. The Ivorian made just 1 start in his first 8 games for the Mackems.

He’s now scored 9 goals and has 3 assists in 29 Championship games – not bad for a 20 year old playing for the first time in the championship.

Dean Henderson
De Gea is still in inconsistent form at United and currently negotiating a new contract at the club.
While all of this has been going on, Henderson has been starting for Forest, playing 20 times so far

Given that he slated United in an interview when joining Forest, has Henderson given up on fighting for the number one shirt at United?

  1. Dean was supposed to be utd's no.1 only for him to get injured before the euros and then got covid before the start of the season. The fact that ole did not give him the chance to prove himself when he returned is baffling

  2. How Stretford Paddock isent doin this every month i dont know. I would love to hear how our loanees doin 1 time a month

  3. Great content Ste, jam packed season and you've kept up every game, whilst doing five and IRL and the world cup! Keeping us all in the know and connected to the club, great for us expats where it's not possible to get to game anymore 👍🏻

  4. Stijn Spierings as a backup for Casimero is worth a video imho. He is topping a lot of defensive stats while also being an accurate passer.

  5. Axel is still on loan at Stoke was injured quite a bit but has returned and is doing well in an exciting Stoke side. He is still a great defender especially at top championships level getting Villa promoted. Unlucky at surf with injuries and in Italy. Will always remember that pSG game. Prob get sold.

  6. I'm sick and tired about the bias on Wan-B considering the fact that Dalot literally average at best and Wan-B is much better than Diogo.

  7. Hannibal had developed a lot playing for Birmingham. The fans are so happy with him. He definitely deserves a chance at Man Utd next season, at least during the preseason. Ten Hag needs squad depth next season and you get this with Hannibal.

  8. When I watch Alvaro he doesn’t look like a kid, looks like he’s been playing for years. Could definitely see him getting a chance next season.

  9. I would say Laird and Mejbri could be decent squad players but I'm not convinced about the others, Amad has talent but I don't think he is physically ready for the first team

  10. i heard u pple talking about every body wat about greenwood y united dont allow greenwood to leave since they dont need him the fans in england dont want him to play for them sent the kid else wear simple as fucking that clubs need him wat they trying do at united kill the kid how long since they investigating am tired of the nonsence this kid dont have to play for united so they just need to let the fucking kid out on let him go play futball even this set of women team talking but they dont want him who di fuck cares all we fans outside wants is for the lad to play sent him to turkey bcas it wont belong before a barcelona go for him i wud like to see him teaming up with fati on fuck the futball world up with there skills on make sum history.

  11. If young players are good enough they will come through. Some fans want ten youth players to be promoted. You have to perform better in training firstly. Statistically you do well getting one player every 5 yrs. Garnacho looks to be the one.

  12. Just saw video off Hannibal with Martinez on sports direct! Hannibal said there is contact on daily basis with ten hag! Martinez said to Hannibal think about next season no pressure 😂

  13. Kovar, Dialo, laird, mengi, Fernandez, Hannibal, ganarcho and the return of Mason greenwood can all be excellent squad players and back ups for united next season. We should buy a few truly world class players like kane, timber and De-jong and sell all the deadwood players and average academy graduates like telles, bailly, elanga and Williams to fund our new world class upgaded recruits.

  14. Amad & Hannibal I think have a very strong chance. The likes of Laird, Fernandez, Galbraith, Mengi, McNeil,Iqbal, Shoretire all need to go back out on loan for another season

  15. I think the only player I’d bring back to United this summer is Laird if we’re gonna keep AWB and not give him a contract. Elanga, Pelestri, and Mannio also to go out of loan. Hopefully new management will find more successful loans

  16. Overall, it isn't bad for our youngsters. But I think that at this level, all of the players out on loan who are 25+ need to go and those younger need to go out on loan again. Ten hag is moving towards a younger team that he can build to fit his system and has the consistency for it. Telles and Bailey are both too inconsistent to fight for spots against younger players who are above their level at the moment and Henderson is only going to poison the waterhole in the dressing room.
