      He is correct?? YES!
      BUT… The coach must give them the confidence, the fire etc! His tactics are bad in deed in many many cases! We said it many times last season that Conte came in and suddenly we see a good Tottenham. Now this season Conte is there and we're seeing a bad Tottenham. He bought new players etc and it's bad๐Ÿ‘Ž. Simply because of him.

He is clear about what is unacceptable when trying to accomplish something as a team! When we feel comfortable giving excuses is the moment that we are sabotaging being accountable !

      Conte won't last at spurs after this but he is 100% right.
      His statement about being paid to do the job is spot on, he's also blaming himself because he was hired to do the job, but can't say the same about players this generation..they just want the pay end of the week and don't care about results..spurs don't deserve Conte, they we crash even more IF he is sacked

      So refreshing to have a manager be so honest.
      I hope the players were watching and react to the justified criticism on the pitch.
      If not we lose another excellent manager.
      We have had players in the Spurs side for too long that are not playing for the pride of wearing the shirt.Some of the players only think of the money …not the pride of playing for the club itself!.

      Iโ€™m with Conte, the players havenโ€™t been showing up and we have been allowing weaker teams to compete with us. Iโ€™m so drained watching them. They play well and then lose interest like wtf

      I'm confused about where he's targeting his anger. For me they were robbed by the refs not because they had a bad performance. He might even feel humbled because he was underestimating Southampton prior to the game

      Good it's about time more manager's came out to the media and spoke as it is,rather than waiting till the Monday after the game and by that time he has mellowed a bit he is 100% right saying about the money in this current climate they should think themselves very fortunate not just this team but others as well,well said MrConte respect regards from Scotland ๐Ÿ‘

      That is probably the greatest speech in the history of sport because of one thing – HONESTY

      No beating around the bush, straight to the point. You can expect that from an ITALIAN. Very refreshing to watch and listen.

      Season ticket holder at Spurs & it's so refreshing to hear someone at the club speak with that passion. Shame it's for the wrong reasons.

      Conte's last throw of the dice, he's either just lost the board and the dressing room, or he's shamed them into pulling out all the stops for him.

      Sadly, as with most clubs, it probably means he'll be sacked. But, Conte is different. Maybe he'll resign in disgust.
