With Barcelona looking for a new right-back, Villarreal’s Argentine defender Juan Foyth has appeared as one of the possible targets at Camp Nou.
With Sergino Dest out of the picture under Xavi Hernandez, the 24-year-old Foyth is seen as a viable option at Camp Nou. And it appears that Barcelona are already increasing their chase of the ex-Tottenham ace.
According to journalist Gerard Romero, Claudio Curti, Foyth’s agent, spoke with Barcelona director Mateu Alemany and was last spotted leaving the club’s Ciutat Esportiva facility.
With the Argentine’s contract at Villarreal expiring in 2026, he may cost a sizable transfer price and be available as little as €10 million.
