VD is the best CB I've ever seen in my lifetime. I always said Maldini was the best but VD has every assest that Maldini had, plus more strength and better aerial ability. For the past 4/5 years he has been like the best versions of Vidic and Ferdinand combined into a single player. Just because his form has dropped below God level people are hating on himš¤¦š»āāļø He still doesn't get ran past and he still doesn't lose headers

Van Dijk had a great 18 months for Liverpool FC as a 27-28 year old coinciding with a purple patch for Liverpool where they won a EPL title and the Champions League… But he was not a top tier CB before that with Celtic and Southampton and has not been the same since his ACL injury
As for top 10 CBs in EPL history, that's quite a race in truth –> Tony Adams, Sol Campbell, Jaap Stam, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja VidiÄ, Vincent Kompany, Ricardo Carvalho, John Terry, Ruben Dias, Virgil Van Dijk etc.
First off dont mistake us for the Nazi's, second Liverpool fans know Van Dijk isn't and hasn't been the best defender in the world for the last 2 years due to mainly injuries

His form for about 2 or so seasons climaxed the form any defender the premier league has ever seen but you need to remember Terry,Ferdinand etc faced a lot harder attackers than Van Dijk faced in the premier league
