  1. I think Sun yang could break world record if he took one more stroke properly. But he couldn't finish in 3minute 39seconds(3:39….)even though he took one more stroke properly.Because I think that he can shorten record 0.10 second maximum if he took one more stroke properly. It's my private opinion but I predict sun yang would make 3:40.03~04.
So,In conclusion,I think that only Ian Thorpe could finish in 3 minutes 39 seconds if he took just one more stroke properly. Also I think he could be going to finish in 3minutes 38 seconds maximum if he did race just a little bit more better stroke last 50m race.

    How about think my opinion?

  2. Had it not been for the ridiculous disqualification in the preliminary round, the gold medal and world record would have naturally belonged to Park Tae-hwan.

  3. The redistributed medals should be Gold Vanderkaay, Silver Hao, Bronze Kis. In retrospect, the guys in 9th, 10th, 11th, and 13th in the prelims (Cochrane, Joensen, Renwick, Biedermann) were denied a chance to take part in this final due to the anti-doping violations of Sun, Park, Dwyer, Napoleon before and after this race took place. Glaesner, who finished 12th in the prelims, has anti-doping violations as well.
