Charlotte and Alex are delighted that Newcastle United have WON again (and are class again) but ask why a Wolves player wasn’t sent off for flying into Nick Pope at the weekend? We also chat about Eddie Howe’s complicated relationship with loyalty as well as the child Anthony Gordon getting a huge surprise at Wembley.

  1. My theory is that EH’s secret weapon is to give the players blood transfusions from Mad dog Tyndall. ‘Full fitness’ comes from these. At the moment Nick Pope needs his dosage adjusting. Izak needs a few more infusions. Once at full and proper strength skill levels, badness and sh*thousery levels are guaranteed.

  2. The 10 outfield players take multiple heavy touches of the ball countless times during a match. When a goalkeeper does it its sickening to hear the abuse they get. Pope is a phenomenal goalkeeper people need to get off his back.

  3. Oi oi

  4. Talking about Eddie’s loyalty issues. Bearing in mind he’s loyal/ruthless, and makes decisions not from loyalty to a player but what he sees in training…. why has Callum Wilson been picked? HE WASN’T EVEN TRAINING and he was still getting picked. Come on Eddie, give us the truth you’re not blinking Blo Jo…

  5. Very disappointed this week, when I seen true lies I expected to at least see one clip of Jamie Lee Curtis doing a seductive e striptease for Arnie. Great show again though 👍🏻😆

  6. the diving gets ignored constantly, basically proves var and the rules are rigged, its an act – the decisions are becoming so insane, their argument will be they have no rules defining exactly what diving is and therefore can't just "accuse" a player who leaps into the air like a ninja when someone touches their foot. They watch a clip of a ball hitting someones hand from a yard away when they're facing backwards 15 times yet simply overlook the fact people are falling down for penalties and move on.

Being unclear having no consistency on decisions and reacting only when they make a fuck up, swinging back and forward allows the ref to decide whatever they want, then what? ah well they've always done that anyway??? not a chance. I think if they're going to keep var, keep it but dont actually correct any of the decisions and let people be annoyed and angry. See the fuck ups, observe and accept it – the players have too, they get penalised and sent off for fuck all.

Then the ref will feel it. Also tally these fuck ups leading to the officials having 3 match bans.

  7. New-Class-le United is so funny. They are idiots arnt they? What did Pope do to get a red card against Liverpool? People wanting ISAK to start is not the same as people saying we want him to stay in the entire game. I can't remember the last time Wilson played 90 minutes. #asktftv – What does Howe get out of being loyal if we are not winning?

  8. Aye, that EH quote did sound a bit like one of them rambles politicians go on when they start to panic on live telly

  9. That's more like it ..sat on me fat arse in me living room in NZ watching the lads win…

My theory is …eddie is doing what he did to wood to wilson…he can't be blind ..he s lost pace ..he will get chance after chance just to either easily offload his mate in summer or make him 3rd choice striker after a summer signing of maddison..get rid and let's see less of nice guy eddie ..l

  10. I have to say as an aside NUFC looked refreshingly real, reliable, resilient, ready and perhaps a teeny bit romantic ..gan on eddie and his mysterious magical R !

  11. I don't know how Nick Pope was feeling, but every time he got near the ball, I was definitely worried. Definitely an area of his game that needs work. Teams will exploit this weakness.

  12. I understood it to mean, Eddie was loyal when people were calling for blood against Big Joe after the drink driving incident. Eddie did not drop him and make unnecessary meal of the situation to score cheap virtue points. It helps also Big Joe is a bloody fine midfield general. Eddie shown to be ruthless in his blunt assessment of Fraser's future.

  13. I was thinking the same regarding Eddies press conferences. I now watch them more for amusement than anything else: how to fill half an hour of talking and saying nothing. I do understand why he does it though. I mean who would give away tactics and fitness updates to the world?

  14. Words to Charlotte. Love that Eddies Tattoo is an homage to Ryan Fraser. From what I've found the R is a tribute to his black lab named Rodney he lost at a young age that was particularly difficult for him. Tender Eddie!
