On this week’s Why You’re Wrong, we’re looking at Dusan Vlahovic, who is apparently having a down season at Juventus, amid links to Manchester United and Chelsea. But is this a blip, or is simply overrated? We dig deep to find out. Then we have Kai Havertz, once heralded as the future of Chelsea, but now a rotation attacker for a club which can’t find the net. How did we get him so wrong?

  1. Love ya work Pat, if you want a wrong one for you I remember you being pretty steadfast Kane was past it with his ankle injuries. He's going alright now

  2. He would be ideal for man Utd we need a strong Center forward

Juventus have always had great Center forwards Trezeguet,D.piero, cr7, dybala, etc

  3. The problem is his poor technique.
Only three years ago he was not considered adequate for serie A because he lacked control, technique and passing.

He had good 12 months scoring a lot of penalties and somehow people forgot how weak he was.

Anyway in Juventus under Allegri he is getting better faster than anyone would expect but the road is very long to become a player worth of serie A.

  4. Allegri is going to continue to ruin Vlahovic's chances of being a star player, as much as it pains me to say it, he NEEDS TO MOVE. Even as a Juve fan, I would rather see him become the player that he deserves to be than see Juve succeed at this point. Yes he is somewhat to blame for his lackluster season, but the other, BIGGER reasons are injury, and Massimiliano Allegri.

  5. Great analysis. But not sure it's about Vlahovic or Kai. Anw, I still like Vlahovic as he reminds me of Crespo/Vieri. Such pure No9 is a gem in modern football.

  6. Both players are young but I feel like Vlahovic is restricted to one position. Havertz looks like he's improving and I would love to see what João Felix and Havertz could do floating behind a striker like Firmino in a 3 at the back formation.. dreaming

  7. I think this perspective about the idiosyncratic nature of different leagues should collect more airtime on offerings such as Sunday Vibes or Continental Club. Often, when discussing transfers, pundits make the mistake of dismissing the actual value of a player staying where they are doing well in favour of the drama of a move, using stats to justify why they would do well elsewhere while neglecting the counterargument of why they should stay. For instance, why should Osimhen leave when he's coming into his own instead of staying at Napoli until he retires a legend, a la Insigne, Mertens, Hamsik or Maradona? Why did Chelsea uproot Lukaku instead of letting him enjoy his soccer in the Italian league which suits him best? The Spanish league is best suited to technicians like Pedri, Gavi, Soler, Fabian Ruiz…let them stay there.

  8. Again I say, players play best in a specific system. Not all systems fit a player. This is why managers who choose players well are great managers.

  9. This video is tinged with salt because he rejected Arsenal. In general I make up my own mind on players. This guy would be the last person I would listen to when assessing players.

  10. had a great opertunity to join us. big contract garaunteed starter..fighting for the premier league title..but refused and went to the 2nd biggest farmers league after league un in europe..luckily for him hes still young so his future will be bright..top player..needs a team with the proper service to start bangin them in again..

  11. Yeah you’re so right about Havertz, his best games in the prem are against teams that actually try to attack i.e Liverpool, Man City and surprisingly Leicester and Norwich, he’s average or shit against everyone else. I’d like to give him one more season but if Bayern come knocking this summer then we should sell for at least 70M, that way we get back what we paid for him. He’s a good player but not against super defensive and physical premier league teams. He just doesn’t have the cuteness of Ozil to succeed despite his deficiencies

  12. Stats dont matter much. Otherwise man utd wont be losing 7:0 to Liverpool.
I’m sure you could say the same thing about rashford last season. But look at him now.

  13. Vlahovic (23) needs a proper team to perform. Just look how well a Stoke reject like Choupo Moting (33) is doing well at Bayern.
Make the move! Juve is done.
