Definite red. A bit unlucky to make contact, but he’s both feet off the ground as he goes in, studs up, doesn’t pull out on contact, and got 0 control. Has to go.

His foot slipped but it’s the fact he’s dived in with his studs towards the ball.
Sick of VAR ruining games. Watching tackles in slow-mo and looking at stills of the contact isn’t an accurate representation. The ref had a perfect view of it in normal time and gave a yellow card.
His foot went over the ball if that was intent his leg would've been straight.. Never a red.

Slow mo shouldn’t be used during these VAR decisions as it’s clearly having an influence on referee decisions, awful to say that’s a red card, it’s clear to see Casemiro has got the ball with a slight follow through on the shin, we see a lot worse that’s ignored or given a yellow card, it’s a slap in the face to the rock and roll football we’ve grown up to see in the Premier League. Why don’t we ban slide tackling as a whole? It’s dangerous regardless of getting ball or no ball.

To be fair that could of snapped his ankle in half ive seen exact tackles like that end in horror so it’s understandable on the other head casermiro went for the ball he never meant it it’s a tough one (Liverpool fan)

VAR so inconsistent once again! I don't mind if this is given as a red but there are so many other tackles like this which is nothing more than a yellow
the issue isn't whether or not this was a red, it's that a worse tackle yesterday with the exact same VAR wasn't punished with a card at all, it's the inconsistency

The slo mo shows his foot slips over the top of the ball due to it being wet. Not a red. Defo a yellow.
VAR should not have been involved as the ref saw it as; Casemiro got the ball but his foots rolled over the top and caught him, so gave him a yellow.

It’s one of those ones where if it was one of your own players you’d say his foot slid off the ball it’s never a red if it was one of the opposition players you’d say he’s went in with his studs it’s definitely a red
i dont support man utd but for me this isnt a red card. he caught the ball and his foot went higher off the ball. just one fo those things
