Lol take these form books when it comes to pub leagues with a pinch of salt. Dortmund were also on a great run but lost to the 10th placed team in our league. At least teams in the pl aren't up against teams with players who are working in the 7/11 during the week.

Just to let you know, this season of Champions League will end just like what happened in 2003/04. At that time, big clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester United, Juventus, Milan, and Ajax were humbled by weaker clubs like Deportivo La Coruna, Porto, and Monaco. Those 3 underdogs had even reached the semifinals along with Chelsea, who were also considered as underdog because they don't win the Champions League, despite having a million pound team at that time with Roman Abramovich.
It will be crazy if Benfica and Napoli played in this Final. Not to mention, if Portuguese side fared better in Champions League, they might send 4 clubs in proper stage along with the usual England, Spain, and Italy, as well as making Germany clubs only had 3 clubs.

Actually Portuguese side like Benefica,Porto,Sporting are always special team…the main reason they can't balance their super performance as benefica this season is the rich clubs buy their key players next season as we can see cristiano bruno felix…many others if it wasn't for money then history would have been different like they would have won recent ucl trophies as if they have their key players remaining their side for long term

Yeah we might do another good campaign, but winning it? It's a whole new level. There were some important player changes that happened, to win a champions league a team needs to keep important players, the same entire team actually and play champions league football in order for them to get experience together playing the competition and evolve together, because the level is so high. Something almost imposssible for portuguese teams that survive by selling their best players. We still lack a main man upfront, somebody of the quality of Darwin, can Gonçalo Ramos pull it off now in the later stages of CL, against top teams? We will see. Benfica is a team that misses alot of chances especially Rafa, when he appears infront of goal, he compensates with alot of quality that he has, always bale to keep the ball in short spaces, even when he loses the timming for the strike. Yeah that won't happen against top teams.
Benfica fan here. Well we can dream about it, but also we have to be realistic that is hard to compete with teams like bayern, city or real. But all teams should not underestimate us like psg and juve did in the group stage
