Wayne Hennessey did not know what Nazi salute was – FA panel
via BBC Sport – Crystal Palace goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey did not know what a Nazi salute was when he was charged with making the offensive gesture, says a Football Association panel.
He obviously knows what a nazi salute is as he is doing it in the pic!! he now says that he "desperate" to learn about Adolf Hitler and World War Two after being accused of making a Nazi salute".. When i heard that it was "not proven" by the fa i laughed my arse off, my son knew what a nazi salute was when he was 12 and would do it when his mum would tell him todo chores around the house, so i find it laughable that a 32 year old educated man has never heard of it. After looking at when and where it was taken it has now made me 99% confident he was doing the salute..Apparently the picture was taken by max meyer from germany!! whilst he was on loan to palace and it was taken in january before his loan ended… the photo was put on twitter and quickly deleted, im sure it was deleted as soon as they realised what hennessey was doing.. Instead of just admitting his error he made up a stupid lie and now it will just roll on and haunt him till he retires, which i dont think will be that long..
