Tottenham Hotspur were dealt a blow after a last minute handball decision through VAR gifted Newcastle a penalty which allowed Newcastle to equalise a take a point from the game, where Eric Dier was penalised for a handball off an Andy Carroll header that he couldn’t even see. Referee decisions and VAR decisions each week are affecting football as a whole and enough is enough. The new handball rule was brought in by the IFAB (International Football Association Board) however the FA and Premier League have taken that rule and made it more extreme by eliminating any room for human error or legitimate ball to hand calls by deeming any time a ball hits an arm it will be given as a handball. This handball decision is killing the English game and it needs to stop. Jose Mourinho commented on this after the game by stating he cannot speak because if he does he’ll have to give money to the FA, while Steve Bruce despite taking advantage from it has stated that these rules are killing our game and it needs to end.

Having just studied the subject utilising a reliable source, I can confidently say that you are absolutely correct in everything you say and show within this video both with regards to the most recent changes to the official handball rule applied to the premier league and who is responsible for the alteration to the international rules.
Until such time as the FA and the Premier League get a realistic understanding of what is and is not humanly possible on a football pitch, they should either hand their responsibilities over to professionals or leave the rules alone and stop abusing technology like the incompetent childish amateurs they appear to be.

Handball rule has crossed the line. I actually think the whole if your toe is offside it’s offside rule is ridiculous because any other season prior if you’re level you’re level you’re onside but now it’s a toe nail I think that’s silly

The root cause of the abolition of intent in the handball is simple and almost never mentioned.
ALL defenders, and most strikers, are CHEATS – claiming penalties and trying to avoid being penalised for definite fouls in the area, more than ever before.
Therefore referees need some more support to try to avoid being conned – this of course explains VAR too.
This all happened as Man united now have VAR subscription for a year worth of free penalty after every game or every 2 games
