  1. Gets put in his place? What does that mean? And really think about the question, "what does that mean?" What does it say about you, about your way of thinking, and the way this was handled? In a society where thoughts like "was put in his place" exist, it is only logical there will be acts of such thoughtlessness, as thoughtlessness is behind it all. I'm guilty of this way of thinking from time to time, but i do reprimand myself

  2. Sad to see spectators losing sight of what sports is. Entertainment not life or death. If you believe in the latter then reevaluate your life and maybe get some help.

  3. 80.022 people looking after a ball never ends to impress me.
    How basic can humans be?
Rome ruled a long time on this kind of endless, senseless and useless rivalry.
Rome gave humanity nothing apart from bad genes and bad manners.

  4. I don't know what results this lunatic fan was expecting, but it's not an excuse for this type of behavior. Though to be truly honest, I'm not exactly a fan of sports like Football/Soccer, but that doesn't mean I approve of the behavior that was displayed here. I hope there will be some kind of punishment for this Nut.

  5. Wow imagine working all your life at your craft to get your career cut short from a fan punching you of all things. At least with injuries that occur in game make sense while the fan violence doesnt

  6. Why did security take so long to get there? Football (⚽) really needs to start enacting harsher punishment for the fans that do this, even if it means punishing those who don't. Lifetime bans or play X number of games with no fans maybe. It's been done before for various reasons. Let them be ostracized from their own community.

Edit: other comments say the pitch invader already had stadium bans, so obviously they need to look into other options. Maybe even drastic automatic jail time and fines would work.

  7. Surprise surprise… (not!!)
Unfortunately i happened to be in Sevilla when they played there and the city center was filled with drunk idiots suffering from a lack of brain.

  8. PSV should be immediately disqualified from all european competitions for 3 years. Dutch violence and racism is not tolerable nor does it have a place in Europe.
