He’s gone thanks god he hasn’t won us a trophy in 8 years
So so 50/50 half half
No matter who is hired as head coach, Iran need to start looking towards the future. There are very few promising young Iranian players at the moment and if nothing changes, we might be in a bit of trouble in the next 5-10 years.
Glad to see you uploading again – we appreciate your dedication, Art!
Good coach
Good short term option for the scenario we faced but for the long term we need to think for the future not just in terms of playing but also the way we play tactically. He's limited with his tactics and we need to adapt in order to really move forward.
Queiroz was a g, but it was always time to move on and look for a new manager. Looking forward to seeing who will be in charge next.
Nekounam sounds like the worst pic of the four. Assistant coach to Queiroz means more Queiroz inspired tactics which equal no net change. I agree with you that Yahya seems the best choice.
We need a coach with a winning mentality that also imposes discipline on the team. Also invest in younger talent, bring in Hosseinzadeh, Sayyadmanesh, Salmani, Fallah, etc
CQs god awful lineup caused us to get embarrassed in front of the whole world against England and his cowardly first half tactic against the US caused us the 2nd round.
So glad he is gone.
Harve Renard would be an ideal replacement if available. He is exactly the type of coach we need. If not someone like Felix Sanchez can suit us.
As far as Iranian coaches, I agree that Yahya would be the ideal choice.
