Sorry, things haven’t changed. Catcher Can’t catch a ball. The main tv announcer is to busy to talking about what he thinks is important instead of what is going on between the lines. And the defense hasn’t improved.

Pedro should be watching the game rather than talk to Chuck Garfein.
The pitch clock will improve the defense? Maybe so, but from what I saw last year in minor league games, it will vastly improve the pitching. Pitchers will be forced to get into a rhythm, and the hitters will have less time to adjust between pitches.
