Aston Villa’s win at Tottenham on Saturday was huge for Unai Emery’s side, marking their first victory of the league campaign and ensuring the do not go into the extended international break in the bottom three.
Despite a summer of change and a difficult start, there have been encouraging signs – including summer signing Johan Manzambi starting and scoring after his return from injury.
