Bournemouth University (BU) and Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) placed 10th and 11th respectively in the South West according to The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2027.
Nationally, Bournemouth University was ranked joint 107th, while Arts University Bournemouth was placed joint 110th.

The guide highlights the University of Bath as the top-performing institution in the South West, placing 8th nationally.

It is followed by the University of Bristol in 10th place and the University of Exeter in 16th.
Imperial College London was named University of the Year 2027, as well as University of the Year for Graduate Employment and Medical School of the Year.
The University of St Andrews topped the national academic rankings.
The guide provides comprehensive data on 133 UK universities, covering teaching quality, student experience, research reputation, facilities, and graduate job prospects.
