Hi Ger, I may have misunderstood the Radz story from Popey but I believe there are 3 defendants including Radz in the court case & that's partly why they wanted split into 3 cases & the other was money as you said. So my understanding is that Radz wouldn't be paying the whole 50m to fund the case it would only be a third

Adams unquestionably was our best player yesterday, I only recall one bad pass in 90 minutes. I was skeptical Tyler could look as good in the single pivot, as he does in the double at Leeds, but he was great. On the other hand it is Wales, who frankly, are a bad team. We'll see how he does against England, Aaron Ramsey is no Jude Bellingham. Tyler also dealt with the ref very well, who was very card happy early in the game. When Pulisic is in that role, he basically moans and complains. Don't be surprised if Aaronson comes off the bench for us in all the games. A big plus for us was the play of Fulham's 35 year old Tim Ream, who played basically no role in qualifying but may have cemented a starting role. My understanding was that Ream was a stop gap for Fulham, but he has played so well, he is now a first choice starter there. Meanwhile, our USA coach is going to drive me to down a half bottle of Green Spot , so many shocking things about yesterday's game, we should have crushed Wales, but no, we are stupid tactically. The biggest shocker is that arguably our most talented player, Dortmund's Gio Reyna, did not see the field, while a couple of OK but mediocre MLS players got significant minutes. The EPL only plays 54 of the 90 minutes because of all the time wasting. They should be adding even more extra minutes!

I'll always be grateful for Wilkinson for getting us promoted to the old first division, a great 4th place finish the following year (I think) and of course, that fantastic championship win, where we pipped Man U at the death. But by god, he was dour and he was stubborn. What really annoyed me was the whole Cantona affair. The fans loved him but Wilko couldn't cope with his mercurial personality. Then we sold him to that lot (for 1M?? Even in that era, that was a steal) where he was instrumental to their success in the PL for the following few seasons. I was also really pissed that he sold one of my all time heroes David Batty for 2.7M to Blackburn and then brought it in the far inferior Carlton Palmer from Wednesday for 2.65M. That never made any sense to me and again showed he couldn't deal with characters who wouldn't religiously toe to his line. By the time he was sacked, we were playing terribly and looked sure fire relegation fodder. So definitely mixed feelings, but the fact that he won us the old first division title has to mean the good far outweighs the bad.
