Former Liverpool star Curtis Jones has enjoyed a strong start to his career at Inter Milan with the midfielder making a candid admission

Curtis Jones has admitted he already feels at home at Inter Milan after their stunning comeback win against Napoli. The former Liverpool midfielder came on at half-time and saw his new club go two goals down in just three minutes but the Italian champions fought back and claimed all three points courtesy of a last-minute winner.
A brace from captain Lautaro Martinez and fellow substitute Marcus Thuram sealed the turnaround with Reds academy graduate Jones showing his passion in the celebrations at full-time. The reaction to him in the San Siro and on social media has also been overwhelmingly positive.
One X user wrote: “Curtis Jones changed the whole game. What a player man.” Another added: “Man I love Curtis Jones.” A third claimed: “Curtis Jones is actually great in this system.”
And it is not hard to understand why he is receiving such rave reviews with the man himself revealing just how at ease he already feels.
Speaking to CBS Sports after the win, he said: “I just feel at home with the lads. Since the first day, they’ve been unbelievable and so I can just be myself. Of course I’ve got a point to prove but I know that if I’m just myself, the lads will like me, the staff and the fans as well.
“I’ve just been allowed to go and be me and just enjoy the game and not feeling that I’ve got to prove anybody wrong. I feel like the lads already know what I’m capable of. I’ve played against them and they’ve watched games and now the platform is there to go and show it. The lads and the staff are great.”
Jones is joined by some familiar faces at Inter with John Stones signing as a free agent in the summer after leaving Manchester City. Djed Spence and Manuel Akanji are other ex-Premier League footballers at the club.

Jones later posted a number of images to Instagram with the caption, “home.” He also reposted a few stories which included his and the reaction of his new teammates to the full-time whistle.
The former Liverpool star made his debut off the bench in last weekend’s win over Cagliari and despite only featuring for 25 minutes, made quite the impression.

He was also involved in a piece of history with Stones as it was the first time that Inter had fielded two English players at the same time. Speaking on the duo, head coach Cristian Chivu said: “They’re experienced players who are comfortable playing under pressure in certain matches.
“I have nothing to reproach them for their attitude, they are two exemplary guys who give everything and I’m happy to have them.”
Jones was one of several marquee names to depart Anfield this past summer with Liverpool arguably failing to directly replace him and Mohamed Salah.
